Family Lives a Year on Remote Island in the Canadian Wilderness // Full Documentary

In this episode we arrive at the cabin after 2 years away and begin a one year journey off grid at the island. We make all of the necessary upgrades to the property to allow us to live there through a cold Canadian winter. We install a solar power system and build an insulated shed to house it. we will be unable to leave the island for 4 to 5 weeks during the freeze up period, so we need to have adequate firewood, propane and food on hand to get us safely through.
