RVing to Newfoundland Ep. 4 - ICEBERGS and VIKINGS! L'Anse aux Meadows/The Great Northern Peninsula.

On this episode we head to the top of Newfoundland's Great Northern Peninsula in search of Icebergs and Vikings. Join us on our iceberg quest with Dark Tickle Expeditions as we head out into the North Atlantic waves for an unforgettable encounter with 7 icebergs. We then explore L'Anse aux Meadows, a Canadian National Historic Site and UNESCO World Heritage Site where Vikings landed in the new world more than 1,000 years ago....beating Columbus to North America by nearly 500 years. And we also visit Norstead, a recreation of a Viking village and port of trade that includes Snorri - a one-to-one scale recreation of an authentic Viking knarr (ship).
