The capital is protected by Three Qin,
With wind and smoke shrouding the Five Ports.
The time has come for farewells,
From one office-bearer to another.
To have in this world a good friend like you,
Is like having someone always by my side.
At the cross roads where we shall part,
Pray do not shed tears like the young.

The concert "Echoes of Ancient Tang Poems" was jointly performed by iSING! Suzhou and the Philadelphia Orchestra, which premiered in Philadelphia on Jan 6 and was held in New York on Jan 7. Fifteen singers from 10 countries led by Liao Guomin, a conductor from Macau, interpreted newly composed songs based on well-known poems from the Tang Dynasty (618-907).
