Our immortal flew away on the back of a yellow crane;
Now all that’s left is Yellow Crane Tower here.
The yellow crane is not coming back again;
We see white clouds for thousands of years.
We make out trees in Hanyang on a sunny day,
And Parrot Isle lush and clear.
But where is home at the end of the day?
Mist over the river brings up tears.

The concert "Echoes of Ancient Tang Poems" was jointly performed by iSING! Suzhou and the Philadelphia Orchestra, which premiered in Philadelphia on Jan 6 and was held in New York on Jan 7. Fifteen singers from 10 countries led by Liao Guomin, a conductor from Macau, interpreted newly composed songs based on well-known poems from the Tang Dynasty (618-907).
