Congressional Action Needed to Improve SNAP Program: Expert

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins says everyone will have to reapply for SNAP benefits. She recently revealed substantial fraud and mismanagement in the Supplemental Food Assistance Program, which was at the center of frustrations over the government shutdown. The secretary revealed that there are 186,000 deceased people still enrolled in the program and more than 500,000 people who are enrolled twice.
