Making an Edwardian Mourning Dress

I've been absolutely swooning over this Edwardian mourning dress for a while and finally decided to make it this month! As I mention in the video, I didn’t have the ideal materials to truly do it justice, but it was a wonderful learning experience — especially in understanding the shape and construction of Edwardian patterns.

I’m calling this version a “wearable mock-up”, and I plan to remake it once I find a more suitable (and affordable!) silk fabric.
