Flight Cancellations Begin Today; Elise Stefanik’s Bid for NY Gov. | NTD News Today (Nov. 7)

More than 2,000 flights were delayed or canceled on Friday morning as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) initiated cuts at major airports, according to a flight tracking service. As of Friday at 9 a.m. ET, around 834 flights were canceled and roughly 1,360 were delayed within, into, or out of the United States, according to FlightAware.

Republican Representative Elise Stefanik, a staunch ally of President Donald Trump, will run for governor of New York in 2026, taking on incumbent Democrat Kathy Hochul.
