Welcome to my time to pass the baton once again So I turned over our pressure washing over to my oldest son Micah jr. But he's about to move to Tallahassee So now that responsibility is about to fall on Colin and Gavin. So Colin's gonna be a junior this year Gavin's gonna be a freshman so it's time for them to take it on fully the last time we did the Chick-fil-a store They did actually take over but they didn't do it completely by themselves, but they did majority of it So today I'm gonna see how much can they do by themselves? I'm gonna try not to say a word let them have at it Let them kind of learn figure the way I may have to step in at times if it's something they are doing Completely wrong and it's gonna ruin something or if they have a breakdown which we've had a couple little breakdowns We actually just fixed an o-ring that had gone bad and we got that all working and now our big surface cleaner actually needs a tip So we're gonna do that but for the most part it should be ready good to go But with commercial pressure washing anything can go at any point. You just always got to be ready and have parts I think we have most parts actually just ordered some more but regardless. Hopefully nothing goes wrong today Let's see how they do. I hate child like to So what we have is a big five-gallon bucket of sodium hydroxide And Collins just filling up our smaller bottles because it's just easier to use the smaller bottles when we're mixing up our our batch Did y'all secure the mondo the big guy No, you better find something They forgot to unscotch the trailer they tried to pull off and it wouldn't go Mix it in slowly. You don't want that stuff to splash out nor do you want a fast chemical reaction? Wearing gloves wearing mask Mixing in sodium hydroxide for our strong stuff. We will put that on the really dirty areas I'm just they got to move the mats, but you'll see our walkways Entrance ways. Oh, this isn't bad. So we don't need a whole lot of extra chemical here out by our back door It's usually worse and by the dumpster pad you can see Just an extra traffic grease grime All right blowing debris So Enough a second bucket Well, obviously you have the water connected because we filled up the buffer tank Gavin just unrealed our gray pressure washer hose all the way around the building Collins put out two buckets of Stronger chemical for the really heavy grease areas and now he's reading his instruction manual that I left Detailed as to what to do next So now we're mixing up our 10 gallon bucket because this is what we downstream from But we won't do a full 10 gallons usually about 7 gallons of chemical Will be enough to downstream the rest of the concrete here at Chick-fil-a He's saying the sprayer you don't use the sprayer for the downstream that just said get the sprayer ready What do you use Is it not you think that hose can spray all that chemical out You don't usually go I swear Read your instruction manual see what it says What's on the end of the pressure washer hose right now, what is that called? What's that metal piece on the end of the hose It's called a ball valve It turns water on and off. So read the instructions and see what my instructions say to do after you've mixed your seven gallon of chemical It's talking about the exhaust right we don't want to melt our door That wasn't us Micah did some but Colin did the other during the elementary school Yeah, I caught it just in the middle of here when we were pressure washing it came completely off What is step 10 say read it out loud for me completely unreal the pressure washing hose at CFA like starting a drive-thru door So on one hose to that area take the one with the chemical tip to the end and connect it What it what color is the chemical tip? He touched his mask strap Apparently with his gloves and a little burn on his neck What else he's supposed to do What else he's supposed to do before it gets cranked Yeah, make sure the exhaust is it does it feel secure It's not gonna be hot until it gets cranked and then you don't want to do that Obviously if it's cranked because it's gonna be super hot right there to get it where it should be now We'll still vibrate so every once while you have to check on it You tell me Boys think they're ready, but they didn't switch the downstream so they're gonna be spraying just water But I'm not saying a word. I'm gonna let them figure out their mistakes Hopefully they're gonna realize let's go check on them Thankfully didn't take them along Colin sprayed for maybe 30 seconds and realized he wasn't getting chemical and he's like Hey, did you turn the downstream? He said did you turn the downstream on Gavin? Nope. Did you I thought you were doing no They both rely on each other. Someone's got to take initiative and they should double-check each other All right. Supposedly one of our tips is messed up. So we're about to test it and see All right, so in the dirtier spots you can kind of see Surface cleaner is kind of streaking a little bit and it seems to be maybe the right side is not getting it quite as clean so I'm going to Change out the tip and see how it does. This is what I did. I took off one tip I want you to look at this for me. This part just needs to clean the air wax in there Yeah, that's bad All right, so it's hard to kind of see on video but it is corroded now not to throw Mike under the bus But he has not used the big surface cleaner in several times Why because he said it wasn't working right and guess what? I told him those tips sometimes get clogged. They may need blown out That is clogged. That's why he's not getting the pressure. That's why it's streaking. So just a rule of maintenance Let's take these things off every once in a while clean them I just bought all new tips and we've been waiting on new parts to arrive and guess what all it needed Was cleaned. All right It is but we could have checked it as well But I trusted when I said have you cleaned them I cleaned them now He may have blown a little bit but obviously blowing up in that little orifice Would not have gotten that junk out, right? so that's what happens when you run over a bunch of junk Gavin for instance That's why we blow because if you run over a bunch of junk, it's gonna get up in that pressure washer All right. So since that one was clogged these other ones I'm sure can use cleaned So actually I took one of those off before but we're gonna clean them all while we have it and it should work a whole Lot better. All right. Let's see the other one. I took off. I'm getting in the shade where I can see. Yeah, holy moly It is completely clogged. There's no water getting through that one All right, we blew out all four the best we could now we're wrapping them up Better put them all back on Knock you back. Why you better hold on It's raining so you can't really see how clean the concrete is because it's still kind of wet But boys did pretty good had to help them a little bit with a few things here and there but for the most part Looks good Roll on around the backside remember how dirty it was back here again, it's still wet. Can't really see how clean This was really bad Some of that's just concrete stain And again out here, you know oil stains. Obviously that won't come up came up a little bit, but it's pretty much a permanent stain, but For the most part concrete is clean It'll look even better when it's completely dry The boys are back getting a little food in their bellies because it's been a long day. So, how did it go? It was good. I mean took a little longer than usual We'd like to be done in like four hours and we got done in five so I think we easily shave off an hour, but probably glad old dad went and Corrected a few things, huh?
