Chopin composed the Prelude in C op. 45 sharp minor for the Parisian publisher, Maurice Schlesinger. Fontana proofread the work in Paris at the beginning of October. The piece was published as Opus 45, dedicated to Princess Elisabeth Czernicheff, one of Chopin’s pupils.

Yes, I know the video isn't particularly well composed or artistically expressive. At least, that's not how I see it. This section of the riverbed has been left in a very natural state. The River Simme flows under an ancient wooden bridge here. The bridge's foundations are the natural riverbed of rock, meaning that the river's current is not 'straightened' but flows naturally alongside the rock face. On the right, the current appears to rise from below the surface and the water seems to 'bloom'. On the left, I included part of the rock face in the picture, even though it doesn't look very good composition-wise. However, it shows why the current flows the way it does. Small whirlpools form repeatedly next to the current, between the 'blooming' water surface and the strong current, which I found fascinating. This shot is mainly thanks to the small whirlpools, as they are really pretty. Please consider this video a tribute to the river, showcasing its many facets.

The video was filmed by Simone Schlegel in the Simmental and edited by Wenjing Ma.
