Welcome to the day in 2 minutes from the
Epock Times Newsroom. Today is
September 4, 2025.
Germany's problem child. The German
automotive industry is losing its role as a
growth engine. This is what IFOR President
Clemens Füst said in response to a question from The Epoch Times. The
reason is the switch to e-mobility
and the growing importance of IT in
vehicle architecture.
Germany has long benefited from its
technological leadership in the
combustion engine. But
there is much to suggest that these times are
now over.
Organ transplantation.
At yesterday's military parade in
Beijing, a conversation
between the heads of state Shishinping and
Vladimir Putin was inadvertently broadcast live. In it,
they talked about organ transplants
and a possible life extension of
up to 150 years. The broadcast has
sparked new concerns about forced organ harvesting in China. Reports of
systematic organ harvesting
and manipulated
donor data have plagued China for years.
The EU criticizes the parade as a sign
of a new world order.
Car hits group of people. This
afternoon there was
a serious traffic accident in Berlin Bedding. A
20-year-old driver turned despite the red
light and drove into a group of
people who were trying to cross the street when the light was green
. A teacher was
seriously injured. Three children
suffered minor injuries. The
driver was temporarily arrested. There
is suspicion that he
was under the influence of drugs. Mourning for
fashion designer. The Italian
fashion designer Giorgio Amani has died at the age of
91. The owner
and namesake of the billion-dollar corporation
died surrounded by his family. Amani
was one of the most influential
fashion designers in the world. His group
currently employs around 8,700 people and
operates more than 2,000 stores
worldwide.
