Giant Sea Dragon (Catch, Clean, Cook)

A compilation of all the Lingcod we caught at @queencharlottelodge in beautiful Haida Gwaii. The bottom fishing was a lot slower than last year, and we heard that lingcod had been fished out pretty hard over the year, but we pushed hard for 3 days and found a monster. My personal best at just over 43 lbs. If you've never experienced salmon, halibut, rockfish, or lingcod, you're missing out on some of the great joys in life. I highly recommend you book a trip to QCL next season to truly experience fishing first class. All your fish is vacuum sealed and frozen on site, then either taken with you or shipped straight to your home. This part of the world is so remote it's honestly worth the trip to just experience the wildlife. Whales, eagles, deer, and black bear roam free all over Haida Gwaii.
