On this episode, we deep drop the west coast on a very windy day searching for queens and other bottom fish, and listen to local legend Larry Paul preach about life. Chef Deem brings it home with a snapper ceviche. This has been the windiest year of fishing in Barbados in my life. It's now mid June and the gusts are still up to 30 kts when it should be closer to 10 kts. It's really affected the fishing industry because no boats can get offshore to supply the island with bottom fish in these conditions. Next week we're heading to a secret spot offshore (weather permitting) called Gaskin where there's tales of 30 lb queens being caught semi-regularly. Stay tuned!
