2025 Hunting Saddle Showcase: In-Depth Look at New Models from Top Brands!
There's no doubt that saddle hunting popularity and innovation is booming these days. We've got
a rundown of the hottest new saddles that you need to know about. Let's jump right in. First up,
our friends over at Tethered are introducing their first two-panel saddle design with the
Carnivore. The Carnivore can be run as either a single or double panel thanks to their RAD system.
These spring-loaded clips create a solid connection while allowing for quick deployment and retention
of the lower panel. They've re-engineered their alignments and bridge loops so that they lay
flat against the body eliminating some of the common pressure points you feel on those longer
hunts. They're also introducing their new quad lock bridge which includes a barrel at the
attachment point that allows for a self-equalizing free float mode that self-adjusts as you change
positions. And for those who prefer added stability, you can simply pop the barrels out and
lock the bridge connection in place. All these features were engineered to help them meet their
goal of making the most compact and comfortable two-panel saddle on the market. The Carnivore
is priced at $329 and is hitting stores this spring. Next on the list, we have Hunter Safety
System who is entering the saddle game with their Defender and Guardian saddles. The Defender is a
one-panel design that includes an expandable pleat allowing for additional coverage and comfort when
needed. The panel itself is made from a thicker padded material that has a soft satiny feel. The
back of the panel includes a walk-in walkout clip that helps keep the panel mounted high and off the
back of your legs when you're walking to or from your tree. Their new Guardian saddle weighs in
at under one and a half pounds. This mesh panel saddle is designed for those run-and-gun hunters
looking to cut weight in their setup. Both the Defender and the Guardian feature a full line of
molly webbing across the back of the saddle for attaching gear and accessories, large thumb loops
for easy saddle adjustment when you're in the tree, lineman loops that are lined with Hunter Orange
for better visibility when climbing and ascending in low light, and they use the same high quality
buckles and belt materials that come in their safety harnesses. The Defender is priced at $199
while the Guardian comes in at $169. Both these saddles are available now. Next on the list is the
Cloud Infinity saddle from Arsenal. One of the biggest features of this saddle is the new Infinity
Pro bridge system. The system offers easy one-handed micro and macro adjustments to your bridge all to
help you get more comfortable no matter how you like to hang in the tree. The integrated large
mouth pockets offer easy access to your gear while the stretch material on the outside reduces any
added pressure to your hip no matter what you're carrying in. The Cloud Infinity saddle retails for
$299 and you can order yours today. Cruiser is re-releasing an updated version of their original
Cruiser saddle, the S-Series. The S expands their lineup by offering a trimmed down entry-level
saddle. This non-pleated single panel saddle sports a single row of tight molly webbing
across the back in addition to a D-ring on each side providing added flexibility for attaching gear
without making the saddle any bulkier than it needs be. A great choice for those just stepping
into the saddle game or those that prefer a simpler setup. The Cruiser S is ready to order now
for $189. The team at Buzzard Roost upgraded their design of the original Buzzard Roost saddle to
bring you the BRS Reloaded. The back band on this saddle has been increased to a whopping five inch
width which provides greater lumbar support. The increased size of the back band also allows for a
wider one and a half inch free floating belt that includes a cobra buckle up front. The leg buckles
have also been upgraded from the original G-hooks found on the previous version to cobra buckles.
This allows for quicker and easier operation especially when wearing gloves in colder weather.
The BRS Reloaded comes in at $271 and is available for order now. And finally, the new Nimbus saddle
from Trophy Line is a simplified and streamlined saddle that's free from all the extra add-ons.
The panel is made from a water repellent blended nylon material that includes five percent spandex.
That spandex allows the material to stretch in a couple different directions allowing for a more
contoured and adaptable fit. That can make a big difference in the comfort on those long all-day
sits. The molly webbing along the back and the sides gives you the option to add gear and
accessories as needed. You can step into a Nimbus for $189 and they are shipping orders now.
There you have it, some of the hottest new saddles for 2025. So are you looking to step into the
saddle game or upgrade your gear for this next fall? Do any of these saddles make your cut? Be
