THE LATEST FROM LONDON
Prince William, you know, was absolutely incandescent with rage when he found out
that the former royal known as Meghan Markle was still doing this behind their backs.
Oh yes, this did not go unnoticed.
And I've often said this about William, you don't, you know, many people,
I don't mean this rudely, you don't understand.
He's a very clever operator, very, very clever,
and much a great support to His Majesty the King, his father, naturally.
We saw that when, of course, he pledged his allegiance.
I often thought, I don't know about you chums, that that must have been a very strange moment
for Prince Harry sat in the cheap seats watching that in Westminster Abbey and thinking,
that could have been me.
That was a moment in history that he let go, allegedly, for the woman that he loved.
A woman that's created nothing but, you know, discord and divisiveness and everything going,
but apparently Harry can only see her through rose-tinted glasses.
But it's ramping up, as ever, let me explain.
Morning, good to see you chums.
Thank you so much.
Are you all right?
I'm not so bad, thank you.
It's nice to see you.
Lovely to have your company.
Welcome, one and all, brand new subscribers.
And a bit of a windy day here in the United Kingdom.
Now, I don't know about you, but, you know, Meghan's new show's come out
and already people are looking at all the aspects of it and all that sort of stuff.
And, you know, I don't really decry what she's trying to do.
I'm just not interested.
I think that's the thing.
If I was going to watch a cooking show, and I think we'd all agree on that,
that, you know, I mentioned this before,
the things that I watched as a child, like Farmhouse Kitchen, Delia Smith,
simple effective ideas that you think, oh, I could do, you know,
that's not a bad idea, you know, that sort of stuff.
You look at things and think, is it cost-effective?
Can I make it?
And more importantly, do you really need to see somebody
dripping in 200 plus grand's worth of jewellery,
while chopping up some dried flowers?
It just, it just doesn't look good, you know.
I don't really understand where the market is for Meghan's show, you know.
If I was Netflix, I'd say, well, what is it?
Because she's not really cooking anything.
She's just bashing around with other people at a table
and then giggling away, saying, my husband doesn't like lobster.
Right.
I mean, really revelationary things, right?
Now, the problem that you have with Meghan is, as we now know,
she's trading heavily on Meghan Duchess of Sussex.
A title that she said meant nothing
when she sat down with, of course, Oprah Winfrey,
contradicting herself very quickly by saying,
but my children, Harry's children, well, no, they wouldn't get titles.
No, it's terrible, you know, kicking off left, right and centre about it.
Now, here's where this gets really interesting,
because, as you know, His Majesty the King,
for whatever reason he's decided himself,
seems very reluctant to remove Harry and Meghan from the,
well, particularly him, obviously, from the line of succession.
It's one thing that, really, UK Brits would very much like to see.
They see him as a traitor, a bad one,
and really not in line, of course, with what people want to see,
or indeed hear.
He still remains, as does, of course, Prince Andrew, the Duke of York.
Now, he's just embroiled in one bad sort of piece of PR
after another regarding the Jeffrey Epstein thing.
And I will tell you a little bit more about that particular book
coming out in October.
That's also rather revealing, but not been put in the public domain yet.
Yes, I'm just digging further into that, chums.
As soon as I find out, I'll completely let you know.
Naturally, you'll be the first.
Now, here's where this gets interesting,
because I think this is an idea that William has
that will really be very effective in the long run.
Because, if you think about it,
if you are the Duke and Duchess of Sussex,
to me, here, living in the United Kingdom,
I think of Sussex as a wonderful county,
with all of that wonderful downs and everything like that.
It's a lovely area of the United Kingdom.
It really is.
And if you travel on that bus through the cliff areas,
going from Eastbourne to Brighton,
you just marvel at the spectacular scenery.
Harry and Meghan have only been once, right?
Just once.
Yet, they carry the titles.
The locals aren't thrilled with that.
So, now, there is Prince William,
because, as I said at the start of this video,
William was incandescent with rage
when he found out that Meghan Markle
was still using the titles of HRH,
claiming just privately.
She put it out there to anger him.
She knew that this was something
that, of course, would really upset him,
all because, of course, the late Queen didn't want it.
However, he's now set the wheels in motion
from the moment, the sad demise, one might suggest,
of His Majesty the King.
Well, that will happen,
because he will retire those titles.
That's something that he can do.
So, Harry and Meghan, at that point,
might still want to call themselves out,
but the titles will be retired
and, allegedly, also that of the Duke and Duchess of York.
One might suggest, also,
that they are rather tarnished in that particular instance.
And behind the scenes, as I've said,
things are really, really tricky,
because, obviously, you can understand
that Prince William's going to inherit the monarchy
and all of this bad PR
that he's now trying to move away from,
even bringing back in, say, Beatrice and Eugenie
as working walls part-time,
doesn't apparently sit well with the Prince of Wales.
But I can understand that.
I don't know about you.
I'm not too offended by them.
That's not their fault,
what their father gets up to, allegedly.
But the other side of it is,
the Duke and Duchess of Sussex
have delivered something far worse
and I think it's an excellent idea to retire the titles.
That, apparently, has just been filtered back to Montecito.
Nothing like good news to start a new series off, right?
