This is so upsetting. Selma Blair, who I think, as you know, has MS, she's been accused of injuring a flight attendant and a passenger on a Delta flight from Los Angeles to New York on Sunday evening, where she allegedly bit a flight attendant with her teeth. Yeah. Here's the air traffic control communique from the captain of the plane to the tower in New York as they're preparing to land uh it's i can't i thought i'd never hear something like this go ahead i'd like to have some medical personnel uh at the gate uh for a couple of the fa's involved in the passenger incident they just need to get a couple things looked at okay um i will pass it along just get an estimated patient count for me please how many ambulances will need uh no ambulances just some medical personnel available for two flight attendants at the gate should be I know you're busy, but just had a couple of questions for you for paperwork purposes. The passenger, the abusive passenger, did that result in the two flight attendants that are requesting paramedics? From the info I've got, it sounds like there were two, yeah, one flight attendant and one passenger that sustained some minor injuries. A bloody nose as well as some bite marks as well. So I don't think we need an ambulance or anything like that, but we just need to get some medical personnel at the gate to look at their injuries. Wow. Delta 938 Heavy, we do have paramedics approaching the gate right now, and the law enforcement is already at the gate. And then one additional add-on, it sounds like the disruptive passenger also bashed her head on the bulkhead or something like that. So we'll obviously have to get her potentially checked out. is injured herself, too. with law enforcement. Understood. I'll pass that along to PAPD. Yeah. But let's take in some, that let's put a pin in that comment right there because i think it represents how a lot of people feel but selma was transported uh they met her sure enough they met her at the end of the plank there and she was transported to a hospital in queens where she allegedly freed her leg and kicked an officer repeatedly as well as a nurse in the chest she was arraigned on assault charges in a queen's courtroom last night there she is sitting in if you're looking at if you're following us on youtube here there she is she looks distraught she's got travel clothes on her sweatpants and you know ---- right how the hell did this trip get away from me she faces two state counts of assault for charges involving the officer and the nurse and she faces separate federal charges for the actions on the flight, because anything that happens mid-air is a federal case. She pleaded not guilty. Her attorney, Sean Barnes, told a judge her actions were not intentional. He said the actor, Selma, has said she's got multiple sclerosis, and she missed several doses of a powerful medication that controls severe neurological symptoms. Do you understand, Ms. Blair, yes or no? Yes, ma'am. The charge was a qualifying offense for which she could face significant upstate time if she is convicted of the charges. He said these factors along with the altitude led to a state of severe confusion and disorientation. Now the judge set her bail at 20 grand cash or 60,000 bond and set the next hearing for January. So she's got a moment. So yes, comment before from Jennifer. People like Blair should be held accountable, financially responsible for ruining other people's vacations. The woman has MS.
