Joining the cast as the Emperor's daughter, Princess Arulan,
can we please welcome, woo, it's Florence Pugh!
I'm very proud how Austin brought this character to life, yes.
And we have some badass women.
Florence Pugh, Suheila, we have Lea Seydoux,
so some really wonderful actresses we got to work with.
Well, congratulations on this massive.
It took you the whole night to get around Leicester Square,
so I'm going to leave you to it. Thank you for speaking.
Yeah, and I want to say thank you to everybody for being here,
showing up, it's quite moving. Thank you.
Thank you.
Yes, guys, welcome back to the red carpet.
We are joined by Lady Jessica, Rebecca Ferguson.
Oh, my God. Exactly.
We have some Fremen back here for you.
Rebecca, you look incredible.
Welcome to the world premiere. How does it feel to be here?
Are you excited? Are you nervous?
I don't really know where I am. I'm pulling up shoes.
You know the drill. This is incredible.
This is so much bigger than I possibly thought it would be.
I'm quite intimidated.
Absolutely.
Well, what was it like being on location, shooting again?
Does the sand really get everywhere?
Tell us, what was your experience like being back?
Well, when Denis saw me, he was like,
I'm going to put shawls upon shawls,
and then I'm going to put jewellery in a fuck-off hat.
So the sand was basically everywhere.
I was just shaking it all.
I can imagine.
Come on. I need to go skiing now, though.
I can imagine. I can imagine.
And talk to me, what was it like working, again,
with such an incredible cast, an incredible director,
jumping back into Arrakis and creating such an incredible film
for us all to see?
I think I said to someone, working with Denis,
it's like I play poker, right?
It's like opening a new hand of cards.
It's like being dealt something.
It's like a child at your birthday or Christmas.
So knowing that that's going to happen,
and every day for the next four months.
But I think also I knew what I was coming back to,
but I also got the possibility
to work with all of these incredible other actors, like Austin.
Thank you and congratulations.
Thank you.
Thank you, guys.
Joining me in this desert oasis is Florence Pugh!
Hello!
Hi!
Which way should I face?
Well, you're facing behind me.
Yeah, we've got loads of cameras.
This is a massive premiere.
I have never seen Leicester Square look like this.
It's quite impressive.
Thank you, everyone, for coming.
It's so wonderful to hear your love.
Thank you.
So how excited were you to join Dune, the universe?
Oh, my God.
I got to watch the first movie like everybody else did.
I fell in love with the world, the characters, the universe.
And then I was given the gift of being a part of the second.
So you can imagine my excitement to be here tonight.
And can you tell us a little bit about your character?
Princess Irulan.
She always looks absolutely fantastic.
You got something in common?
Even better.
Thanks, darling.
Even when she ends up in a funky territory at the end.
But, yeah, I really, really want people to go and watch this movie
on the big screens with the speakers
and really watch it in the way that it's been designed to be watched
in an epic format.
How was it reuniting with your former co-star, Timothee Chalamet?
I love Timmy.
It's been such a privilege to watch him rise and lead this movie.
I met him years ago, and it was just truly, like,
the most special experience watching your friend
not only lead this movie as a character,
but lead this movie as an actor.
And he's done it so graciously.
And we have to talk about Christopher Walken.
I mean, it would be a bit odd if I didn't mention it.
What was it like sharing scenes with such a Hollywood legend?
I mean, probably like every actor under the sun,
I've admired him since I was such a young age.
I think just the best thing to do when working with legends
is you just get to watch them and take them in,
take them in when they're acting, when they're off-camera, on-camera.
It's a huge privilege as an actor to be working with someone like him.
And finally, why do you think that Denis is the perfect director,
because I think that he is, to bring Dune to the biggest screens possible?
Because he cares.
He doesn't only care about the story or the characters,
but he cares about every single actor on set.
He truly, truly gives a shit.
And as an actor, that is the best thing to feel
when you walk into a movie like this with this scope,
and you know that you are protected,
and protected by not only a fantastic director, but a gorgeous man.
So, yeah, that's why.
I think you've got about two more miles of red carpet to walk.
In sand!
So I'm going to let you get on with it.
Hi, everyone!
Florence Pugh, everybody!
Hello, it's lovely to see you.
Brandon Warrior-Chani, please give a huge welcome to Zendaya!
Into it, strike a pose, there's nothing to it, Vogue.
What you know about going out?
Head west, red laps, TV's all up in the headrest.
Try and live it up, ride through a bigger truck.
Peace off, lit it up, stick a can, make a watch.
Jig with a cut, sip crisp, spit it out.
Hold right, get your nuts out, can't get it out.
I'm a big man, get a slam room.
I done hit everything from Cancun to Vancouver.
Why you stand on the wall? Hand on your balls.
Lighting up drugs, always fighting in the club.
I'm the reason they make me dress cold.
They figure I wasn't wild when I'm in my fresh clothes.
Dresses, I suppose, from my neck to my toes.
Neck full of gold, baguettes and my rose.
Rap shows, galactos, extra oats.
Buy the heat, get a key to the next to host.
East west, everything, come on, bury the hate.
Minions, the only thing we in the heavy to make.
But if in the X-Frame, intellect's all bins.
Let's begin, bring your GS to an end.
Bad, bad, you make me feel so good.
You make me feel so good.
That's what we do.
Bad, I wouldn't change it if I could.
I wouldn't change it if I could.
Come on.
So deep in your eyes.
It's a funny thing for me to try to explain.
I'm feeling in the pride as I wanna blame.
Cause I know I don't do the same.
It's just how I feel, I can do it.
No one else can.
To my friends, so quietly.
We can be in a dress.
You in there, ain't nobody else in the dress.
The beat in my heart, it's not cute.
But I still don't do the same.
It's just how I feel, I can do it.
No one else can.
It is my absolute pleasure to welcome to the stage,
the director, screenwriter, and producer of Dune Part 2,
it's the new venue.
Producers Tom Lillipoint, Mary Perrin, and Cale Boyter.
Executive producer, Joshua Grode.
And composer, Hans Zimmer.
There they are, there they are.
On to the incredible cast.
We have Anya Taylor-Joy, Shahayla Yacoub,
Stellan Skarsgård, Leia Sadu, Florence Pugh,
Austin Butler, Josh Brolin, Rebecca Ferguson,
Zendaya, and Timothee Chalamet.
You know what, we thought we built a stage big enough,
and we just didn't.
Let's wait for the ladies to come over.
Please give it up for the incredible cast and crew of Dune Part 2.
So Denis, I want to start with you.
How does it feel to be here at your world premiere,
surrounded by your incredible cast?
It's a bit overwhelming to see all of them together.
Isn't it amazing?
I'm the luckiest director on earth to have the chance
to work with such a group of artists.
And everyone is so excited to see the film.
What can audiences expect from Dune Part 2?
They can expect to watch a movie that is much more muscular,
with much action.
It's a love story.
It's a movie that will be, I hope, much more emotional for them.
And we put all our passion into it.
And Timothee, what would you like to say to fans,
this is your camera right here,
around the world who will be able to see Dune Part 2
in cinemas from March 1st?
Thank you everyone that came here tonight for being here.
Thank you to everyone watching at home.
If you enjoyed Dune Part 1, you'll love Dune Part 2.
If you didn't see Dune Part 1, you'll still love Dune Part 2.
It's all thanks to this lady in a lot of ways.
And we can't wait for you to see it.
Thank you.
And I hope that you enjoyed the movie.
I did. Congratulations, guys.
Let's give it up for the cast and crew of Dune Part 2!
That can't be it.
Okay.
That's it.
