Human beings don't really love because humans are an apparent part of the whole – in reality there are no separate beings, there is just being. So love is not an experience that an individual has, it is the death of the individual.
A lot of people don't distinguish between love and need. But in true love there is freedom, there is no need. Need is an ego trying to enhance its identity through relationship with the other, but that is not love, that is need masquerading as love.
Love is the recognition that we share our being. It is the natural condition of all apparent relationships.
