During the Warring States period, King Xuan of Qi married an ugly woman, Zhong Wuyan, as his wife. With the help of Zhong Wuyan, King Xuan brought his ministers to work hard, as a result Qi State was strong and wealthy. Interestingly, King Xuan’s son, King Min also married an ugly wife, who was well known as Tumor Girl, for she had a big tumor on her neck. One day, when King Min arrived at the east gate of the state of Qi, the king's caravan was so huge that it startled many common people on the roadside, and they all ran to catch a glimpse of the monarch's elegance.
