Son Bardissa, designed by BUC Arquitectura in Campos, Spain, is a single-story residence inspired by traditional Mallorcan agricultural buildings. Built along the natural slope of the land, the house adopts a long, low profile that minimizes visual and environmental impact. Its modular layout is based on the historic "destre" unit of measurement, reinterpreted to suit modern living needs with spacious interiors, a central courtyard, and open porches. With structural walls used to support the roof, the design allows for flexible, column-free spaces. Blending into the landscape with natural materials and earthy tones, the home reflects a thoughtful balance between tradition, function, and sustainability.
