We Haven't Seen Her Since MANILA & She Did THIS For Us!

Monday morning. Welcome back to a new vlog. I sound tired. I just listened to my own voice then. I think I sound very deep tired but welcome to another vlog. We are in the car bright and early today. I'm very excited because we are about to go and see a dear friend of ours, Hannah, who we haven't seen for a very very long time. But it's Monday morning, new week, fresh start. Hope you guys are all doing very well. We had a good weekend. We saw some family over the weekend. It was raining all of Saturday so we stayed in building furniture. We'll update you on some of that stuff at the apartment later on in today's vlog. Yeah it's a new week today. A quick weather check from the car. Blue skies, some cloud but we can deal with a little bit of cloud. It's actually really nice. Yeah the roads are wet so it obviously has been raining but yes we are off to a place called Hove which isn't too far away. Very right next door to Brighton and we are off to see our friend Hannah who we haven't seen for over, well, okay I'm gonna put some clips in. Some of you guys when we meet Hannah in a minute you might recognize her because she was in Manila. That is where we last saw her in our apartment, our first apartment in Manila in I think it was March or April. March. March 2020. Welcome to the Philippines. We're here. Hannah and Logan. We're gonna give them the grand tour of the apartment which takes about four seconds. Let's see the view. But it's quite a low wall. So don't fall. Just get up there. Are you scared of heights? It's so nice but you're really scared I can tell. Don't worry. It's a beautiful view and it's a lovely apartment. Thank you. I can't believe you can see the sunset. Wait let's let's quickly interview Hannah. So is the lighting good? The lighting's lovely. Is it though? Do I look tanned? You do. You're way more tanned than George. I know. So it's your first time in the Philippines. First yet time in the Philippines. Where are you going? What's your plan? What's your trip? Are you the planner? Yeah. We're going to Cebu on Saturday. Cebu, nice. And then Palawan. And you've got two weeks right? Three. Three weeks. So any suggestions gang? Right where should we go? Why don't we go to the place you guys suggested? Siargao. Siargao. That sounded nice. And it looks amazing. So so nice. There's loads of places we could suggest. Yes please. Yeah yeah we will. And Manila is so nice. Yeah. Everyone's super friendly. Good. Our Grab driver was a dream wasn't he? Yeah. Hannah's not married up on the way. When we go out tonight you'll realize how friendly the people are. Are we going to go and see Shikina? Yeah we should. Okay there's a bar we can go to after dinner. Okay. Are you guys like free tonight? You haven't got other plans? Well no so we've only sketched a dream for an hour. It's actually almost done. It's your source of ice cream and cocktails. Oh my god we're dreaming. But it is so good to see both of these guys. I've only just met you guys. She had just arrived in the Philippines. She was supposed to have this amazing trip traveling around the Philippines. Yeah. We were going to join her, show her some of our favorite places but sadly a day after. Literally a day after Hannah. I sound tired don't I as well? It's fine. It's very cold in England and I think our bodies are getting used to adjusting to that and they may be freaking out slightly but it's fine. I do sound ill. I'm not ill. I literally am not ill. I feel great. Anyway so yeah we literally saw her and then the day after we went into lockdown or two days after and funnily enough she was the last person that we saw before lockdown. The most recent person from England like family and friends wise who we saw before not seeing them for the whole pandemic. So she's like she was the last person we saw that we knew from from England. So it's kind of like kind of crazy really. So she's basically booked us a table at I think it's a fairly new spot like a brunchy breakfast spot. It's 10 o'clock in the morning. I'm really sorry about the focus on this camera. It's not lighting going in and out of the light today so I hope the whole intro wasn't out of focus. It might have been. But yeah we're gonna head down now and then we'll show you guys some delicious food hopefully when we get there and we'll have a nice catch up with Hannah. Okay we just managed to find some parking. Also got the old jacket on today. We found loads of our old jackets because it is cold. It is cold but we're here. We managed to park pretty much directly outside. Wow stunning. Yeah looks like they've transformed part of an old house and this is the name of the place. Wow that's so nice. Hannah's already here. We are 10 minutes late so sorry Hannah if you're watching. I mean probably can't use it for a couple of years. Oh now you've said that I know what I think I know what this is. Oh wow that is amazing. That is so cool. Even a little bag for it to all go in. A ring light. That's brilliant. Thank you. Absolutely. That is so good. Oh bless you. Thank you. I'm intrigued to see what this tastes like. Yeah me too. So this is a jaffa cake rainbow latte. I mean it's not very rainbow it's very brown actually but it's made with macaroons which apparently there's no caffeine in there and it's got oat milk in so it smells like a really good chocolate. Wow I like it it's not too sweet at all. Really? Is it orangey? It kind of tastes like a healthy orange hot chocolate but like a healthy in a good way like kind of grainy a little bit grainy. It's very good. Grainy. Grainy lovely you're really selling it aren't I? Okay so my breakfast has arrived it's a frumpet. What's a frumpet? It's like a crumpet with frump in it. Deep fried I think. Deep fried crumpet wow so unhashed browns so we've got bacon caramelized onion cheddar cheese and something else and then George has got crumpets as well wow that's ridiculous. What's in that one? Avocado, egg, chili jam. Nice and then show the hash browns. Oh it's really wobbly. Wobbly crumpet. Okay ran out of memory onto the phone wow these look really good. They're so big they're huge. I know I can the caramelized onion smells amazing enjoy. Okay having a bedroom again makes life feel a little bit more normal we've been doing a lot of unboxing recently but I do have a few more exciting things. Oh wow there's loads of stuff in here Lucy. Did you order the chocolate spread? Yeah. Wow so Lucy did an order for me I think this camera's really wonky there we go Lucy did an order for me on my protein because I have joined the gym haven't vlogged in the gym yet but I have been going and I'm back in the gym so I want to start making my shakes away shakes away shakes again um so what's this clear whey isolate at orange mango flavor and then a huge wow that's really big is that bigger than the one I used to have maybe I've got smaller I need to get bigger again um chocolate nut flavor my protein not sponsored just wanted to share this um on the vlog because talking about the gym holds me accountable so if you don't see me in the gym in vlogs coming up comment below and say George get in the gym also got the chocolate spread from my protein excited to try that and this this is a kilogram if I can open it is a kilogram of peanut butter wow all natural peanut butter that is cheap it's like six or seven pounds six pounds that's so good in the shop you buy it for that much you spend a lot more yeah for sure is that like a freebie they added that in the bottom of the box so um I don't know if I can like get a code with my protein or something I've seen other people do it um I might look into that because I know a lot of you when I talk about the gym and stuff are also gym goers in fact I met one of you who watches these vlogs in my new gym so if that was you hello you work in worthing hospital very nice to meet you so I will look into that see if we can get some discount codes going or something like that secondly I did an order with Uniqlo all part of getting trying to get life back in order a little bit gotta find the new vlog angles now that we've got this place oh nice just some simple stuff to be honest I'm not too sure on the sizes that's so nice I'm basically needing more warm weather clothes now so this looks lovely looks big but this is just a pure plain white simple white jumper I got it in XXL I'm going to try that on um I can return it again XL if it's too big looks big but it might could be perfect for the winter I'm into really boring clothes at the moment plain beige and white and black stony colors look how nice that is let's get the advocacy up oh yeah we got that in Ikea okay oh the peanut butter maybe where is it where is it I've got this which is like a another long sleeve in this kind of color textured if you can see like the texture on that that yeah really nice and then Lucy also ordered me some more socks some more long socks beigey stone color and two lots of no they're all different colors they should be okay oh yeah that's like a cream that's a white what's this oh new mask not that we need masks here as much but we do still use masks when we go into into stores and things like that and restaurants also why the thing that's it so yeah life is slowly but coming back to normal we've got like a bedroom that's nice now um got some new clothes because our clothes we were getting cold basically yeah life is slowly returning to some state of normality although it's not really because we're having a new kitchen we're having new bathrooms this place is still going to be pretty much ripped out but at least we can have a safe haven in the bedroom now okay we found it we found it it had fallen on the floor but this was a cute little baby top on loose it's so small this is quite old and it's got this um disney little disney dalmatian on with a heart lucy it's tiny what age is that how are we gonna have a human no but look at the age this size oh so cute right um the age is 6 to 12 months yeah £9.90
