Top of the third inning, Walker Beller
on the bump for the Red Sox. This
breakdown is brought to you by
DraftKings. And he wants that to be a
strike. It's not a strike. Not called a
strike. He says, "Here, here's I don't
know." Cory's like, "Okay." He's getting
upset. Next at bat, 02 pitch to Lindor.
Curveball hits him in the foot. Hit by
pitch. He gets first base. Buer doesn't
like it. He went like that. Come on. H
just a little frustrated. So, he's just
getting a little frustrated. You know,
it's been frustrating. Here's the curve
and Lindor sees it, stands his ground,
tucks the knee. I don't know. Defending
himself, prepping for contact, stepping
into it. You be the judge. Fight about
it in the comments. Hit him in the foot.
So, now Sodto comes up. He's got a
runner on first. Double play opportunity
for the Red Sox. Lindor probably going
to try and steal. They open him up.
Curveball. Ball in the dirt. He's
excited. Maybe a fast ball's going to
come. Maybe I can swing. Maybe Lindor
gets in scoring position first. He's
off. Pitch was down the middle, but it
was called the ball. Huer says it's
right down the middle. Letting him know.
I know he's safe at second, but that's a
strike. Blue turns around to make sure
and he says, "Yep, two and0." And then
you can hear him on the hot mic
scream. Hey, get back on the mound and
watch those buddies. I don't like that.
I'm not into the buddies. Then he's
really going to yell at him. Back on the
mound.
What? I'll call the game. You throw the
game. It's right down the [ __ ]
middle. Hey. Hey. I'm telling you right
now, it's right down the [ __ ]
middle. I'm telling you, get out of the
[ __ ] game. And catcher's like,
"hm, yeah, damn, [ __ ] you." And he
leaves. The whole time that was going
on, Lindor, after stealing second, was
having himself a ball. Throw him out.
Throw him out. Throw him
out. And the pitch was right down the
middle. The problem is the catcher
standing up, the batter's standing up,
the umpire loses all frame of where the
ball is, what the strike zone is. If
only there was a system where he could
be like, "Is there a computer that can
tell me I'm a human and I couldn't see
it, tap on my head, we'll go to the
booth, strike, problem solved." No one
yells. But there's no theater in
rational decisionmaking. So instead, we
just say ball and then throw them out of
the game. Now, before we move on to the
next section with more lip reading about
the manager, I want to go back to the
ejection because we did get a pool
report. Crew chief Laz Diaz said that he
can say stuff from the mound, but once
he comes off the mound, he's leaving his
position to argue balls and strikes.
Once anybody leaves their position to
argue balls and strikes, that's an
immediate objection. Walker Beller
responded and said, "Who cut the
distance?" Yeah, who cut the distance?
Let's see. He's on the mound. As the
argument starts, umpire walks towards
him and he's getting closer. Beller
walks to the edge of the mound and stops
there. Seems like he kind of maybe knows
that rule or just naturally that's where
he stopped. And then the umpire, who's
going to touch grass first? Umpire's
walking towards him. He's walking
towards him. Buer standing still. He
steps on the grass first. Left his
position. You could argue the umpire
left his position first. I don't know
the rules against that. I think both are
in the wrong if you're asking my
opinion, which I don't really I don't
care if you care about my opinion or
not, but I think they're both in the
wrong. Essentially like baits him and
then Beller steps on the grass second.
So to answer Ber's question, who cut the
distance, which is a phrase I've never
really heard, but I like, Estabbrook,
the umpire, he was the first to do it.
After he throws him out, Kora is quick.
Just runs right up in his face. What are
you doing? What are you talking about?
He's off the mound. I gave him warnings
twice and he's still screaming at me.
Coran, oh god, come on, Mike. And Buer's
got to leave now. If you are very new to
baseball, but you enjoy these videos,
thank you very much for watching.
Starting pitchers leaving early really
hurts you cuz now you got to use a lot
of relief pitchers in the game and that
could also mess up your next game or the
game after that because you can't use
the relief pitchers over and over and
over again. It's not rinse and repeat.
They get tired. So having a starting
pitcher get ejected in the third inning
is a big situation that usually the
umpires and the pitchers themselves,
everyone understands like this shouldn't
happen. It's not good. And Cora is going
to say, "You should have let me protect
him. It's my job to protect him from not
getting ejected. You didn't even give me
enough time to protect him." Come on,
man. Yeah, you can't help with that. You
immediately kicked him out. Come on. I
know. I get it. No. Wait. I gave him two
warnings. Wait for me. I gave him for
me. Wait for [ __ ] me. Are you [ __ ]
kidding me? Come on, Mike. I gave him
away. You've been horhit the whole
[ __ ] game. You can go. Yeah, you've
been [ __ ] horeshit. What a hell of a
By the way, huh? By the way, by the
way, [ __ ] you. [ __ ] missed on two
[ __ ] pitches in the first inning.
Wow. Really? Yeah. Right away. Right
away. [ __ ] get your [ __ ] [ __ ]
straight. Don't [ __ ] turn. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Laz
has got him now. They're hugging.
They're neck and they're talking.
They're get cordial and all that. Laz
like, "Please leave. Don't be like that.
Don't [ __ ] be like that." Esther
Brook is like, "I'm over this. Please
leave. I want to get back to the game."
Cora looks good in the jacket and the
hat, but he's got to go. The gray beard
also a good look. Esther Brookbrook
bald, nice eyes, and tense. Kora breaks
the bullpen phone cover. That bullpen
phone cover in Boston's seen some
damage, huh? Leave all your comments and
let me know how what everyone thinks.
And thank you to DraftKings for
sponsoring this video. And thank you to
you guys for watching it. And thank you
to Kora and Buer and Lenor and everyone
that requested this one. This was a big
big push. People said, "I want it. I
want it. I want it. I want it. I want
it." because get some big names and some
fun
