For the twenty-fifth lecture in this lecture series, we would be discussing the Economic and Social Council – ECOSOC. ECOSOC is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations established by Art. 7 of the United Nations Charter. In this lesson, we would be unpacking the function of ECOSOC, its composition and its mode of operation. We would also be highlighting some achievements of ECOSOC.
