One second
Good
What's up, guys? Thank y'all so much for joining me today on instinctive addiction archery. I'm your host Jeff Phillips
Say what you got going on today? Nothing but some fun. I'm gonna bring my grandkids out here a couple of them anyway
You know, I got eight of them. Okay, and guys, you know, I shared my last video about instinctive shooting
How it was kind of a naturally learned process
for me from childhood, okay, well
Just like I grew up shooting bows
My grandkids are doing the same thing. They absolutely love it. They just love shooting bows
Okay, and learning that instinctive ability just to draw a little recurve back
No sights, no nothing and actually hit something is a
process that is developed over time through practice and even as a child learns how to shoot a bow and
Hit what they want to hit it turns into what I am that and how I shoot a bow today
Where I simply just look at something and shoot my shot, you know
Generally get it not all but at least close most of the time and as a bow hunter
That's what really counts. And that's why I do what I do
All right, Case Phillips is up to bat. Hold on just a sec
Yeah, he up to bat. Now he's handicapped. He's handicapped because his string's about to break, right?
It's time for Papa to put him in his string on. He's worried out. So he's left-handed his string's wore out
He might have one or two shots left in the life of that string, but we're gonna shoot it won't go anymore, right?
Okay, what are you shooting today?
The doe. Okay, put it on
Shoulder shot. He shoots quick like Papa. He's a quick shooter. Where'd you get that from?
the way you shoot
Maybe
He's gone, okay. Okay. So what's gonna be?
Knocked him. He knocked him.
Gobble, gobble.
Now it's the big gazelle buck.
That ugly thing? With the goofy rack that's backwards?
Yeah, that's the ugly thing.
Hmm. In other words, my niece is shooting, right?
Which one?
Now we are going to be shooting the doe.
The doe. The doe that's eating.
He's eating grass. He's eating grass.
He's eating grass in the food plot.
He is.
Now, last but not least.
The bear.
The big gripper.
The big bear. You know if you don't shoot a bear right you'll come back and eat the grass.
Yeah, we watched a video last night.
And then they were shooting cubs.
And they shot it and it ran.
A cub? That was a big black bear.
Black bears are not as big as that.
Well, maybe that.
But not as big as a gripper.
It was like an older, but not like a really old bear.
Yeah.
And if they didn't shoot it right it was going to come out real bad.
And they shot it with a pistol.
And then they didn't shoot it right.
And it started running.
And all their dogs were chasing it.
Yeah.
And then they shot it again.
If you shoot one with a bow, better put a good shot on it, right?
But they used a pistol.
Okay.
Here we go.
Right in.
Okay.
Good job.
I got him.
Yeah.
Did you get a team?
Yeah.
The bear is going down.
Good job.
I'm going to shoot the bear.
Y'all hurting that bear.
What's next?
The bear.
We locked you, bear.
Oh.
That perfect shot.
That's good.
Is that the wrong way?
A little bit, but it's good.
It's the wrong way.
You got to get your arrow.
Grab your arrow.
Go ahead.
All right. What's next?
We're going to shoot the turkey.
A turkey?
Shoot it a little bit.
There you go.
All right.
Hold on.
All right.
There we go.
The dove?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
That was a good job.
Good job.
Thank you for watching.
I'm Ellen.
I'm Kay.
Thank you guys for joining us.
We love you so much.
Pray that everything we say and do
