Starship Flight 9 in Big Problem! No Launch Until...
Starship V2 seems to be cursed!
After a period of silence at Starbase, the new launch date for Flight 9 has finally returned! It could launch in just two weeks.
Sadly, after the recent Ship 35 static fire test explosion, the launch date has shifted into an indefinite delay.
So, what happened? Is this a serious problem?
Let's find out in today's episode of Alpha Tech.
The gap between Starship Flight 8 and Flight 9 has been notably longer compared to earlier test flights. However, this doesn’t mean SpaceX is hesitating about its upcoming goals on the contrary, such careful review might well be preparation for success following previous failures.

According to an internal source, Starship Flight 9 is expected to launch within the next two weeks. While SpaceX has not officially confirmed this, if we look at the recent progress of the Starship, the Super Heavy booster, and the launch pad, everything seems to be proceeding on schedule, with all key work likely to be completed in the same two-week timeframe.

After a period of quiet at the building site, Ship 35 has recently undergone two static fire tests of its Raptor engines. These tests had been highly anticipated, especially since Booster 14 has already completed its critical testing leaving only the Starship V2 tests before a full launch can proceed.
Roaring into the night, Ship 35 completed two ignition tests at SpaceX’s Massey test facility.
However, the test didn’t seem to go smoothly, in fact, it revealed an issue that caused Starship to operate unstably.
