We've made it to Friday, and Amala is here LIVE to recap everything that happened in this wild week! Today's topics include the Derek Chauvin verdict, Demi Lovato's meltdown over yogurt, the shooting of Ma'khia Bryant, Lebron James' deleted tweet, and Planned Parenthood's eugenicist past. Don't miss this!
friday is talk about this week and sort
of recap
all the things that have gone down this
week both in pop culture
and politics and i will try my best to
give you a conservative hot take on each
of these issues
now joining us today i have taylor who
is
my creative manager want to say hi
taylor hi guys
so he's going to be in the background uh
he might provide some commentary
throughout the duration of this live so
if you hear any comments from the peanut
gallery
just know that is taylor doing a great
job
so the first thing i want to talk about
in regard to what's been happening in
pop culture today is a situation that
popped up between demi lovato
and a frozen yogurt shop called the big
chill
and i already know i sound ridiculous
even bringing this up but
it was a really substantial sort of wave
that she said on social media talking
about this issue
and for those of you who are unfamiliar
the big chill is a frozen yogurt shop
out here in la and demi lovato went to
visit this frozen yogurt shop over this
past weekend
and she didn't have a good time and i'll
tell you exactly why so demi lovato
walked into this yogurt shop
and she realized that the yogurt shop
offered sugar-free
and fat-free options in their store
and this immediately triggered demi
lovato who has in the past struggled
with eating disorders
and most likely currently struggles with
eating disorders considering the
the vivid reaction she had to this
yogurt shop carrying sugar-free and
fat-free options
so demi lovato gets triggered by seeing
these options
in the yogurt shop and she has to leave
without getting her frozen yogurt
now she released a video talking about
this situation
and initially called out the yogurt shop
online
talking about how the big chill was
promoting a toxic
diet culture to the general population
who comes and
tries to patronize their store so demi
lovato was extremely triggered by this
she told the big chill that they need to
fix their messaging and probably see
about
taking off the labels of sugar-free and
fat-free on
their items so this causes a big wave on
social media everybody's talking about
the big chill and it's definitely
mixed reaction some people are in
support of what demi lovato had to say
and many are saying that she's sort of
over the top on this
issue but this leads to demi lovato
releasing a
faux apology as i like to call it on
instagram live where she goes and
discusses
the situation with the big chill and the
reason that i call it a faux apology
is because she makes no mention of
actually being sorry for what she did to
this small company and i want to really
hone in on that this was a very
small family-owned frozen yogurt shop
that demi lovato
a celebrity with 102 million followers
on instagram
chose to target and talk about their
products
so we have a celebrity with a
substantial amount of
influence on the general young
population talking about
a very small business that is just
simply trying to provide
a commodity to the american people now i
want to play you
a little piece of this faux apology
video from demi lovato and all you need
to hear
is this one sentence to know how
disingenuous an apology this really is
so here we go let me play this for you i
have but
i'm willing to talk to
this froyo shop to help get the
messaging right
she's willing to go and talk to the
owners of this frozen yogurt shop
to get the messaging right so they can
bend to the whims
of what her reality is rather than what
the reality is for the general public
and this issue may seem minuscule you
may be asking why are we even talking
about this but like i said it made a
really giant wave
on social media this week and the issue
that i take with this
is something that i expressed earlier
she is a large celebrity with a
substantial amount of influence
particularly with those in the younger
population
and the sense of entitlement that she
must have
to feel the need to get online and blast
this small
business is just absolutely beyond what
i can imagine
and the principle here is that she feels
an entitlement to bend society
to the whims of her personal feelings
rather than to what
actual reality is she got triggered by
some sugar-free
and fat-free options and she felt the
need to not only
go beyond looking at herself looking at
her own reaction
but to have this yogurt shop bend to her
whims to make sure that she isn't
triggered
and it's absolutely ridiculous so the
yogurt shop fires back at demi lovato
and says hey demi we offer these
sugar-free
and fat-free options because we have
people who come to our shop
that have diabetes we offer gluten-free
options for those who have celiac
disease
and this goes completely over demi
lovato's head and in her apology video
if you want to go and look at it it is
eight minutes of just utter stupidity
she talks about
the fact that the yogurt shop should
change their messaging
to write these diseases either somewhere
in their store or somewhere on their
products
so that everybody walking in there knows
that these sugar-free or these
gluten-free options
are for people with these diseases so
they don't get triggered into thinking
that they need to be on a diet or that
they need to avoid
fat or they need to avoid sugar so again
i'm going to emphasize the fact that she
wants society to change
for her personal feelings instead of
accepting reality
and i think for those of you who are out
there who are looking at this younger
generation
or are part of this younger generation i
think we can realize that the young men
and women in this country are
weak they're extremely weak we're
talking about all this anxiety
depression triggering
and it's because we have people like
this we have people like demi lovato
who are going out into society and
saying you need to change
what your reality for what i'm feeling i
don't need to change my reaction you
need to change
your reality so that i don't have these
reactions
and like i said we are fostering a
society
full of young men and young weak men
and young weak women because of people
like this who have such
uh an exponential influence on how young
people act and if you go in the comments
on this instagram live that demi lovato
posted
like i said eight minutes of a dumpster
fire for the most part
people are in her comments supporting
what she's saying
saying thank you demi for championing
this issue
for for targeting a very small business
who is just trying to function
and support their families out here in
la and they're thanking her for doing
this
so i just wanted to get on here today
and talk about this and say that it's
completely
wrong to live life with this mindset and
all that is going to foster
is weak women and weak men uh taylor do
you have any
any final thoughts on this
throw it right to me um yeah i would say
you know we don't
it's the old adage of the you don't
child proof or world
you know child proof the world you
worldproof your child and you know
it's it's unrealistic to you know may s
make society so soft padded full of
pillows and padded walls and everything
that we do
so that you can never be triggered or
never be upset by anything
um instead we need to make resilient
people and that is not the direction
that our culture's headed right now
yeah taylor couldn't have said it better
and uh for for me personally
as a young person i'm 20 20 years of age
when i go out into the world and i have
children
i'm going to teach my children that yes
there are going to be times in your life
where you are quote-unquote triggered or
you are offended by things
that is a part of natural human
existence
suffering is a part of existence feeling
bad is a part of existence being
offended is a part of existence
and that is not something that you
should run from or have people change
their world
simply to to detract that that
experience from you and it's just
utterly ridiculous
what demi lovato has been doing recently
so i just wanted to highlight that story
uh the the next froyo was bomb yes
so we went to the froyo shop the big
chill cause we wanted to show our
support we wanted to film a video of us
going in there
and saying that we support uh small
businesses and we walked right in and we
didn't get triggered by the sugar-free
options we didn't get triggered by the
fat-free options
and guess what we went to the counter
and we got our frozen yogurt
and our weekends weren't ruined like
demi lovato's was so go and support the
big chill if you are out in los
angeles uh they're a great frozen yogurt
shop and they have a great product
so moving on another story in this week
is planned parenthood and i know we hear
about this
all the time it's a big it's a big
conservative movement to talk about
being pro-life
but we have sort of a monumental
observation happening right here right
now the new york times published an
article
and it's an op-ed written by the
uh the chief executive of planned
parenthood
where essentially she admits that the
founder margaret sanger
was a eugenicist and a racist and
founded planned parenthood
with the intent of having black
americans
people with disabilities go and abort
their children so this is monumental for
for anybody who is a part of the
pro-life movement or follows the
pro-life movement
so yes alexis mcgill johnson who is the
chief executive of planned parenthood
published in the new york times that
planned parenthood is now
choosing to recognize the the foundation
of which
margaret sanger built planned parenthood
on
and like i said for those of you who
don't know she was a eugenicist she was
a racist
and her intent was to eliminate black
lives
from the population by founding planned
parenthood now
the chief executive alexis she admits in
in this article that planned parenthood
has tried to steer clear of this legacy
to ignore the fact that the founder
founded planned parenthood on this
concept on this belief
but now planned parenthood wants to own
up to the fact
that yes margaret sanger did have
bad intentions when she founded planned
parenthood
now she writes we don't know what was in
sanger's heart
and we don't need to in order to condemn
her harmful choices
so they're clearly taking ownership of
exactly what
this founder had in mind when she
founded
planned parenthood now what's planned
parenthood's answer to this now you've
admitted
sort of this big bombshell announcement
as to why planned parenthood was founded
in the first place
and it's a legacy that planned
parenthood continues to run on and we
will get into that in a second
but she writes and the first step is
making margaret sanger less prominent in
our present
and future they're already renaming
different awards that they had named
after margaret sanger
and they're taking that affiliation away
so what's really interesting about that
is that planned parenthood now admits
this horrible bigoted discriminatory
founding of which
this large institution was created but
instead of owning up to it
and changing their practices changing
the practice of abortion
saying that they are pro-life now that
they can recognize why margaret sanger
started founding this business that does
abortions no
what they're going to do is just
eliminate margaret sanger from the story
so now planned parenthood gets the
privilege of selling their mission to
people as some sort of pro-choice
body autonomous movement and they're
going to erase the fact
that it was founded on the principles of
racism and eugenicism
so it's absolutely ridiculous so now we
get this big bombshell announcement from
planned parenthood
and there you go we're just going to
give it to you and then we're going to
raise it from the population
so the general population now planned
parenthood is not going to tell them
what their organization was founded on
the primary derivative of
the reason of why they are performing
these abortions
and if you think that it is not a
problem currently it absolutely is and
it's something that i want to talk about
so like i said margaret singer founded
planned parenthood with the intention of
having black americans abort their
children
and she was absolutely right in making
that prediction because it is a problem
that has run rampant in the american
society for far too
long we are we are have had millions of
abortions
at this point performed legally within
this country and a city that i really
want to highlight
is new york city now i'm sure a lot of
you have heard this
fact and it is a fact i'm going to go
ahead and preface that new york city
black americans abort more children in
new york city every year
than they have taken to full term and
deliver so more children more black
children are aborted
than born in new york city and the
margin is by thousands
so for planned parenthood to actively
admit yes
planned parenthood was founded on the
basis of
racism and eugenicism and then try to
erase that
from their narrative moving forward
while it is still currently being
practiced is absolutely ridiculous so i
wanted to highlight that
because like i said they're erasing this
story
yet african americans are still some of
the most
affected by the abortions that are being
performed at planned parenthood
so really really think about that today
and think about the fact that you're
probably not going to hear that story
for much longer because planned
parenthood is choosing to run away from
it
uh any thoughts on that taylor um
i just think it's in we were talking
about this before you know the
it's interesting that as much as you
know the narrative right now out there
is black lives matter black lives matter
how much are we hearing about this
reality that you know
most black lives don't even see the
light of day in new york city
like literally less than yeah yeah it's
just an insane
uh idea so which probably leads us to
our next story it does lead us
to our next story and like taylor said
look at the foundation of the
of the phrase black lives matter and and
think about
whether or not you are really supporting
that narrative in your daily life if you
are a person out there
who supports blm so another thing in in
the news
this week something that i'm sure we all
are well aware of
is the george floyd verdict and for
those of you who are not aware which i
imagine is none of you
uh derek chovin the officer who was
charged with
the killing of george floyd was
convicted
on all three charges of which he was
arrested for
this week and there's been a lot of
talk about this a lot of blm
protests and things coming out of this
even though they got exactly what they
wanted
and and they got the justice that they
asked for and i'm not going to go into
whether or not i believe
the conviction was rightful or talking
about the jury or anything like that
but i want to emphasize the fact that
when we founded this country we told
americans that everybody had the right
to due process
and everybody had the right to a fair
trial and i want you
if you can take a moment today to look
at all the media coverage of this trial
look at all the riots and protests that
broke out last year
during the blm summer as i like to call
it and and look at all the politicians
mainstream media social media how they
push this narrative of black lives
matter
they push this false narrative of of
racist policing
and discriminative police officers
and you tell me whether or not
you think this trial was fair
is is it fair that that derek chovin
went through this process while having
all of america polarized by mainstream
media by social media
and just by the general public with with
all the riots happening it was sort of a
story that you could not run from
even if you tried so think about that
today
was this trial fair and does it fall in
line
with the principles of which our country
was founded the the
giving the right to everybody to have a
fair trial
when when arrested for a crime now that
leads me
into our next segment which is
after george floyd's uh trial ended
and derek chovin was convicted right on
the heels of that
we had the incident with mikaya bryant
for those of you unfamiliar
a 16 year old out in columbus ohio who
was shot and killed
by a police officer whilst she was
committing
attempted murder let me really emphasize
that while she was committing attempted
murder
so the police were called to this house
out in columbus ohio
where mikaya bryant and several other
people were engaging in some sort of
altercation
there was fighting happening at the
scene the police officers roll up and in
a 13
second encounter the police officer gets
out of his car
the fighting continues as these police
officers are at the scene
which is crazy to me that you will
continue to fight when police officers
are at the scene of which you've called
them to so the fight continues
makaya bryant enters the scene pulls a
knife
and attempts to stab a girl right in
front of the police
and this brave police officer with like
i said
13 seconds of time pulled his weapon
shot mikaya bryant four times
and and saved this young girl's life who
was about to be stabbed in the head or
in the throat
and the media ran with this story
ran ran ran and stretched it out into
something
far crazier far more sinister than it
really was
and it's so interesting to me that on
the heels
of the george floyd trial where
essentially blm was granted the justice
of which they've always been asking for
the narrative still continues even when
the situation in no way warrants it
everybody could see that footage of
micaiah bryant everybody knows that the
police officer was justified
in shooting that girl because she was
committing attempted murder
he saved the life of another young black
girl in the process and with with
extremely
great timing extreme efficiency extreme
marksmanship
this officer deserves an award and for
anybody to say any different
is simply the perpetuation of a
narrative that is completely false and
that we've known as false
for quite a long time so the shooting of
mikaya bryant i will say right here now
was completely justifiable anything to
to add to that taylor
i don't want to get in your way just
that people should uh look at your
breakdown
from earlier this week too if they want
to see that moment by moment
yeah so if if you somehow have avoided
the coverage of mikaya bryant and you
haven't seen
the the body cam footage with the police
officer you can check that out we did do
a video where we broke it down in slow
motion and talked about exactly what
happened to her exactly why it happened
and exactly why this police officer
deserves an award for what he did
so the mikaya bryant story breaks blm
goes crazy the left goes crazy they're
again pushing this narrative that even
though we have gotten justice for george
floyd
there is still work to be done because
police are still racist and as an
institution it is not
rotten apples it is a rotten tree and we
have celebrities sort of pipe in
and and give their their two cents and
celebrities that have a considerable
amount
of leverage within the black community
and i want to talk about specifically
lebron james and kaylani so lebron james
famous basketball player i'm sure we've
all heard of him
he comes out and posts the picture of
the police officer responsible for
shooting mikaya bryant
essentially doxing this man and says
you're next
hashtag accountability so now
again just like with the demi lovato
situation you have this massive
celebrity
with a with an exponential amount of
influence on the general population
coming out with yet another perpetuation
of a false narrative
when it comes to racism and policing in
america
and this tweet got a lot of backlash
because i think anybody in the general
public can watch that video of mikaya
bryant
and they know in their mind's eye in
their heart of hearts that the police
officer was completely
justified so lebron james got pushed
back on this tweet
and what do you know it was deleted
within minutes
so he comes out later and instead of
saying you know what i made a mistake
i shouldn't have doxed this police
officer i shouldn't have shown his face
to the american people
and told him that he's next and
threatened him and said that we need to
have accountability
for an officer who was simply doing his
job and did it correctly no he didn't do
that
he doubled down on what what he
originally posted he said yes the police
officer was in the wrong
the only reason i deleted the tweet is
because i didn't want to push a
narrative of hate
i didn't want to create more traction in
our society
than is already created by the current
story with mikaya bryant
so lebron james is a coward first and
foremost
and he's also again pushing the false
narrative and now i'm going to move on
to kalani
so kelani for those of you who don't
know very prominent r
b rap artist in the black community came
out after makaya bryant was shot and
killed
and essentially called not even
essentially she she
flat out called for the abolition
of the police system in america so
it's it's sounds ridiculous even
to say it but it's it's a prominent
thought on the left that we should
somehow defund the police
and break down the system of policing in
america and kailani came out and echoed
this narrative
so instead of taking accountability
which is what
which is what kailani and lebron are
both asking for instead of taking
accountability and saying yes this young
girl was committing a crime
she was a criminal she was attempting to
murder another young girl and she paid
the ultimate price for her stupid
actions
kaylani and lebron double down on the
false narrative of black lives matter
and that's what we see on the left and
that's particularly what we see in
hollywood
they just want to push this narrative
and push and push and push
and push even if the facts don't don't
come together and don't support this
we saw this with adam toledo we saw this
with dante wright we saw this with
george floyd
now we're seeing it with mikaya bryant
and it's because they don't care about
facts and i said this in my stream
earlier
they care about race they care about the
color of the victim
they care about the color of the cop
they do not care about facts
and they're seeing the fire that's
brewing with blm on the left
and all they want to do is add fuel to
it and these celebrities with their
millions and millions and dollars of
which they have
which they have created and earned
through american society through our
values through our capitalism
are somehow trying to take down all the
structures of which make america great
and they sit in their little ivory
towers
with their own police officers with
their own security team and they talk
about defunding the police and how we
need to abolish
this system of which does not serve them
yet it serves them
every single day so i wanted to talk
about that and i'm sure you're going to
see more celebrities
coming out and on the heels of all this
blm and all this abolish the police and
defund the police
i want to put out a message to any
police officers who may be watching this
and i want to thank you for doing your
jobs
because it's harder than ever right now
in this day and age to be a police
officer to go out and serve your
communities
and for those of you at home who who
feel any confusion
on this topic police officers go out and
they do their jobs every day
they're underpaid for what they do when
they go out in these communities
they don't go out to to obliterate black
lives
to kill black people to discriminate to
perpetuate some some form of genocide
on black people yet that's what a lot of
the american public seems to think
police officers go out to do their jobs
to protect their own communities and to
make their communities better
and it's crazy and i can't even think
about i can't even fathom being a police
officer why would you even go out and do
your job
even when you do it correctly you are
persecuted and we see this
highlighted in the case of micaiah
bryant this police officer showed up to
a scene
in which he knew there was imminent
danger he got out of his car
and he saved a young girl's life and is
now being attacked
beyond belief on the internet why would
any police officer want to show up to a
scene
and do their job effectively if this is
the backlash that they get
this is the reward that they get in
return for doing
these actions for being brave for being
courageous for protecting people
so to the police officers out there who
are listening who are still doing their
jobs every day who are going out into
these communities
i want to thank you for being brave and
being courageous taylor back to you
anything you want to add
yeah it's true like it's it is a
courageous and heroic act for a police
officer to just do their job because if
they were self-interested
um or you know the smart thing to do
these days would just to be like okay
stay home let let these let you know
don't respond to that call let them stab
each other let someone die because
i'm just going to be criticized but you
know it they have the
courage to do the right thing and do
their job and step into the situation
despite knowing that they're going to
face backlash
they're going to no no one's going to
side with them everything's gonna be
misinterpreted misconstrued
and uh you know that that's a courageous
act you have no other motivation to do
it than
you know to do to do the right thing and
do your job and do your duty and uh
that is certainly admirable yeah and
it's it's it's admirable and it's
certainly
sad to to watch the way that that
profession
is being shown in mainstream media and
on social media and is perceived by the
general public
a profession that is purely based off of
courage and wanting to do what's right
is being torn down by the american
people and i can't imagine that
police officers or are going to
grow as a profession i think people are
going to stop being police officers and
i don't blame them because
you're in a bad situation no matter what
you do whether or not you do the right
thing or you do the wrong thing
and people have such a misconception as
to what police officers do every day
and as to how prevalent the issues that
black lives matter
talk about are because i want to tell
you guys it's not prevalent
the killing of unarmed black men is not
prevalent
whatsoever in american society yet
people seem to perceive that it is
and i want to play a little audio clip
for you and this is out in minneapolis
uh
army horowitz is going out and
interviewing minneapolis residents
and talking about their perception of
police and how many people they think
how many black people they think are
killed by police every year so let's
listen to this really quickly
how many black people were killed by
cops last year any idea
100 plus in just minnesota
no around the country oh thousands
unarmed black people thousands
it seems like they're trying to erase
like our like
destruct the whole race of you know the
african-american race
would you consider this a genocide
that's a good question and now that i've
been confronted with it i'm going to go
ahead and say yes
it's the eradication of an entire people
yeah it may not be all one time but the
targeting
to eradicate all people does that seem
like a fair definition
um with the way the system has laid
things out with uh with the way people
are murdered and there's no account and
there's really an accountability i would
have to say yes so you guys just heard
that
these people in minneapolis somehow
think that hundreds if not
thousands of black unarmed men are shot
and killed
by police each year blows my mind
and let's talk about 2019 so in the year
of 2019 how many unarmed black men were
shot and killed by police
guess what news flash not hundreds
not thousands 19 19 unarmed black men
were shot and killed by police
and you want to know another fun fact
about that situation
most if not all of them were in the
process of resisting
an evading arrest so we seem to have
this dumbfounding idea
of how many people are killed and shot
and killed by police
how many black people are shot and
killed by police and it's so far beyond
reason
so far beyond fact and if they even took
two seconds to look up and look at the
actual stats they would find
that their perception is in no way true
and the second lady in this clip
equates it to genocide that police
officers are going out
every single day with the sheer intent
of killing black people
to eradicate them from the population
how brainwashed do you have to be
to believe that that is your reality and
if you want to talk about genocide let
me take it right back to the planned
parenthood story i just
read you margaret sanger founded planned
parenthood with the idea of committing
genocide to the
towards the black population she was a
eugenicist she was a racist
yet black lives matter and the left are
consumed with this idea of racist
policing and that police are somehow
carrying out a genocide in this country
if you really want to look at genocide
if you really want to look at
eradicating the black population
we would go and take a look at planned
parenthood and it just goes to show
that black lives matter the left
mainstream media
social media these hollywood celebrities
they do not
care about black lives they care about
pushing a narrative
that is going to break down some of the
greatest institutions
the greatest government ever created and
that is the american government
that is the american institutions that
is all they care about
and it's all in an effort to usurp power
and brainwash
the general population taylor any
thoughts on that
oh man you're on fire yeah
i mean it's true like we for again for
all the the label of black lives matter
if you look at
you know um what what what what's
happening with planned parenthood what's
happening on the streets it's like
why are the why are the police having to
respond to these calls in the first
place why can't we ask that question you
know there's
they have to respond to violence and
intervene and
you know black lives matter focuses on
what happens after that happens
they don't focus on you know why there's
violence in the community in the first
place and
like you were saying the cases of police
killing an unknown black person
is you know 20 out of however many
thousands
and whereas there's thousands of cases
of uh black on black crime
and we're not allowed to say that we're
not allowed to talk about it and it's
precisely right and it's it's this
irresponsible
rhetoric from the media from people like
lebron james who are pushing this idea
and this false reality that you know
black people are being hunted down in
the streets he even said
um and it's it's causing the problem to
get worse it's spreading the very
hate and fear hate for america and fear
of the police that
uh is irrational and it's not rooted in
the facts that he's supposedly
pushing for yep absolutely and it's yeah
none of this is rooted in facts
and that's really the highlight of all
the stories that i shared with you today
demi lovato
planned parenthood george floyd micaiah
bryant
all the narratives surrounding blm and
these celebrities and and the woke left
none of it is based in facts logic
or reason they simply are perceiving the
reality in whatever way they see fit
pushing that narrative to the general
public and expecting us
to bend down to the whims of what they
believe is true what they believe is
real
whilst ignoring the true facts and the
true logic
so the goal of this stream today of
course was to go over what was happening
this week in pop culture and politics
but it's also to give you the truth
and it's something that we are so
deprived of in this country and in this
nation today
because nobody cares about it so that's
what i'm that's the goal of this live
stream
i want to share the truth with you i
want to share logic and reason with you
and and and that's what we're going to
do from now on so that has been
the weekly wrap up i'm omelette binobi
with prageru
and thank you for listening
