Giant Prehistoric Fish Surounded my Kayak - Destin Inshore Fishing. What started out as a horrible day fishing turned into one of my most enjoyable times fishing ever. I started out at Pointe Washington to try and catch some Redfish, but the wind was blowing about 20 mph out of the west. So I gave up that idea and headed toward the 331 bridge where I could fish protected from the wind on the east side of the bridge. I put in next to The Bay Restaurant and fished all the rip rap down to Pilcher Park where the docks and piers are. After I didn’t get a bite the whole way down I decided to quickly fish my way back to the launch point and call it a day. When I got within 75 yards of where I launched, I noticed at 20 to 25 large fish tailing periodically. Excited I put on a fresh shrimp and started casting to them, they completely ignored my bait and were oblivious to me it seemed. I decided to go in for a closer look to figure out what they were and got a big surprise. Watch the video to find out what I discovered! I hope you enjoy it, Thanks for watching!
