Ne-Yo Battles Woke Mob, Wildfires Devastate Maui, UFO Witness Might Be Unreliable| The Wrap Up

D.C city councilman calls for the National Guard to restore safety to the Capitol a wildfire devastates the Hawaiian island of Maui Robert Neo is the latest celebrity to do battle with the woke mop a leading presidential candidate is assassinated and was a key witness in the UFO hearings committed to a mental health facility we'll get into it right now what's up guys I'm CJ Pearson and this is the wrap up where you get the news you might have missed but definitely need to know Washington D.C city councilman named Treyon white who at one point called for the police to be defunded is now calling for the National Guard to be deployed onto the streets of our nation's capital in an effort to combat crime here he is in his own words one of the biggest things that they can provide is presence the issue right now in our community is that you hit over and over again we don't have enough officers now that's quite a switch up to say the least now White's calls for military support comes as D.C officials have declared a public safety emergency in our nation's capital amid a wave of violent crime according to Fox News D.C recorded at least 13 shooting deaths in the first five days of August which surpasses the 10 killings recorded in the first five days of July according to the Washington Post there have been at least 158 killings so far this year according to police which is a roughly 22 percent increase compared to the same time frame la last year we'll continue to cover this story as it develops let's turn now to Maui at least 36 people have lost their lives and hundreds of homes and structures have been destroyed on the Hawaiian island of Maui after a devastating Wildfire fueled by dry summer conditions and strong winds from passing hurricane the fire began unexpectedly and raced through the historic town of Lahaina causing evacuations and leaving behind absolute destruction thousands of residents have been forced to evacuate efforts are now underway to provide assistance communication and support to those affected with Maui County mayor Richard Bisson Jr saying that the island had quote been tested like never before in our lifetime the ion Community is coming together to rebuild and recover in the face of this tragic event we'll continue to keep you updated as more developments come about the woke mob came for Neo now those are words I never thought I'd say Neo most famous for the hit Miss Independent caused quite the stir over the weekend for calling out the left's attempts to sexualize children and enable the general mutilation of minors now never thought that would be controversial but here he is in his own words parents have almost almost forgotten what the role of a parent is it's like okay if your little boy comes to you and says Daddy I want to be a girl and you just let him rock with that you just let right he's five right and where did he get that if you let this five-year-old boy decide to eat candy all day he's gonna do that exactly when when did it become a good idea to let a five-year-old let a six-year-old let a 12 year old make a life-changing decision for theyself right when did that happen right like I don't understand that almost immediately Neo received backlash from lgbtq activists who claimed his remarks were quote transphobic Neo at least initially appeared to back down when he posted this apology onto Instagram where he said after much reflection I'd like to express my deepest apologies to anyone that I may have heard with my comments on parenting and gender identity I've always been an advocate for love and inclusivity in the lgbtq plus actually he added an eye There community wow quite a departure from what he initially said but then well he doubled down blaming a PR representative for jumping the gun with an apology that was posted without his authority and said he meant every word he said he wrote an Instagram caption okay this is getting out of hand from the horse's mouth I will not be bullied into apologizing for having an opinion agreeing to disagree is on a declaration of war somebody asked my opinion on this matter and this is how I feel I will never be okay with allowing a child to make a decision that detrimental to their life I will never be okay with that I don't I definitely plan to educate myself a little bit more on this matter however I doubt that there's any book anywhere or any opinion that somebody's gonna tell me that's gonna make me okay with letting a child make a decision like that now courage in Hollywood now that is certainly hard to come by a leading candidate and a parent front-runner for the Ecuadorian presidency Fernando villavencio was gunned down in the capital of the South American country on Wednesday now villavencio had campaigned strongly against corruption and crime and pledged to lock up quote all of the country's thieves if he had been elected now we need someone like that here in America but video of what transpired quickly went viral and we have that out here viewer discretion is advised Latina Media reported that six people have been arrested in connection with the assassination our thoughts and prayers are with Fernando's family it's time for your news to know a few weeks ago here on the wrap-up we covered the jaw-dropping hearings that occurred on Capitol Hill regarding UFOs or more specifically uaps otherwise known as unidentified aerial phenomena during the hearings testimony from multiple Witnesses appeared to all but confirm the existence of non-human life however critics push back at the hearings calling them no more than a distraction well now an exclusive report by The Intercept might just help them make that case in a surprising Revelation documents obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request by The Intercept reveal that David Grouch former National reconnaissance officer on the defense Department's unidentified aerial phenomenon task force pertaining to security clearance despite alleged substance abuse issues in a psychiatric detention now Grouch emerges a star witness during congress's UFO hearings making extraordinary claims about non-human that was his quote biological crash Heights from a secret program to reverse engineer extraterrestrial aircraft despite grush's credibility being bolstered by a security clearance police records obtained should he was committed to a mental health facility in 2018 following a suicidal statement grouch's claims have raised questions about the security clearance process in the handling of sense of information related to UFOs well guys that is all for us this week I'll see you guys next week right here on the wrap up in the meantime be sure to comment share like And subscribe and
