Ingredients for 4 servings:
• 400 g minced meat, mixed or beef/poultry
• 400 g fresh sauerkraut, alternatively pre-cooked
• 60 g ham or bacon
• approx. 35 g lard, alternatively clarified butter
• 2 onions
• 2-3 cloves of garlic
• 2 tbsp tomato paste
• 250 ml meat or vegetable broth
• 1 bay leaf
• 6 juniper berries
• 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
• 1/2 tsp caraway seeds
• 1/4 tsp sugar
• Pepper and salt
