All right you guys it is the last wine and chocolate tasting of the year
with the wine goddess and the countess of cabernet. We'll be tasting the Bissinger's
holiday chocolate truffles with the boissé chronology. Let's listen to the pour.
So first let's cheers to this yummy 2020 chronology super tannic so it's a bit dry but it is juicy
has some peppery notes some dark fruit again you can really taste that tannic so it's got
a little bite on the end great with steak. So first up we have our dark sugar plum truffle
this was a little bittersweet with the dark chocolate but we absolutely love the crunchy
sugars on the top with the wine it gave you this tootsie roll effect. We got more cherry
than plum with this but we did give this well at least I gave this a 3.25 and the countess
gave this a 2.75. Not really a standout but still really good. Next we got our milk chocolate
gingerbread cookie truffle. At first it smells a little bit like white chocolate but when you
taste it that filling mmm big ginger honey big ginger. I gave this a 4.25 because it definitely
changes in your mouth especially after you drink it with a little wine and the countess gave this
a 3.25 with great flavor and again good with the wine. Okay for number three we got the bush de
and what we found out was that that means joy of Christmas so we really love this one it tastes
like a pettiford with a little note of caramel. I really liked the little the muddiness and the
tannic is very rich with the wine so I gave this a 3.75 and the countess gave this a 4.
Love the hazelnut taste and really chewed well with the wine. All right and last but not least
we got the white cookie truffle and honey if this does not remind you of Christmas I don't
know what does. It looks just like a Christmas cookie with the little sugars on the top.
The first taste we're getting a little bit of vanilla with the filling and some caramel so
when you taste it with the wine it does kick you in the mouth. There is a little bit
more tannin than uh you're ready for but it's really good. The countess gave this a 4.25
and I gave it a 4. So with that said let's wrap this up with a little word from us. Thank you so
much for watching us this year. We love and appreciate you all and we cannot wait to show
you what we got in store for you next year. We love you all. Happy holidays, happy new years
from Wines and Chocolates. Thank you.
