Nicole Gonzalez (M.S., UT Austin) shares her work exploring how sediment gravity flows construct a prodelta-to-shelf depositional environment. She presents a revised storm bed depositional model for the shallow marine storm deposits of the Coaledo Formation in southwestern Oregon.

(2) Panel Discussion: The importance of fieldwork for a geoscience education

A moderated panel discussion on the importance of fieldwork for geosciences education, addressing topics such as which valuable skills students learn in the field and access to opportunities.
