Interview Part 2 with Catherine Himelfarb 🌟
Vice President and Managing Partner - Forest Hill Real Estate Brokerage, Yorkville

Q1. When things get slow how do you keep up the motivation and stay positive?

• I like to meditate 🧘‍♀️ and I attend webinars 💻 and I listen to other realtors. I also like to keep up to date with market trends 📊 and what’s happening in the Toronto real estate market 🏙️. Staying connected to my past clients keeps me motivated 😊, not to mention this is a great time of the year to let them know that I care ❤️ and I’m thinking about them during this holiday season 🎄.

Q2. If you had to give advice to realtors or share something unique that you experienced when you’re feeling down or discouraged, even when you’re feeling positive that you go back to in your mind?

• It happens; it’s normal. As I mentioned, you’re going to have great days and bad days… it’s part of the process and part of the journey 🚀. Just enjoy the journey. Make more contacts 🤝 in these times when we see less positive people; we hear fewer yes’s. We need to talk with more people… it’s a numbers game, very simple.

“You need to pay attention to your business 📈 and you need to understand the numbers and what you need to do, how much business you need to do to meet your goals 💰—$50k, $100k, whatever it is you’re hoping to make in 2025. It’s not just going to happen. I believe in the secret: if you visualize, it will happen.” - Catherine Himelfarb

“I’m really thinking about how I can be of service to people as if this person who is selling or buying is like my family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. It’s not just a transaction to me; it’s more of a choice of being authentic and honest because I know the universe will give me 10X back 🌌.

This is what I believe in: being honest with people, and you’re going to have a client for life.” - Nikki Hessami
