HIGHLIGHTS | Atlético de Madrid vs. SD Eibar (Liga F 2024-25 Matchday 11)

Borussia moves forward. Now it's into Gio Kuros' path. Early Atletico chance. Good save. Astralaga, I think the flag's up anyway. Perez was first up but couldn't get there. Luani, opposite flank, dancing away. Still Luani and tipped away from Perez. Tipped over by Astralaga. Big threats on the wings for Atletico, the Brazilian. Not always in the starting line-up though. Just her second of the season. A little flurry of corners here for Atletico. Gio Kuros sent back in and not met by Medina. Fiamma Benitez, what a delivery. That is the 20-year-old Vicente and Perez weren't sure for a split second. Nothing to worry about and the line's broken beautifully. Here's Fiamma Benitez with Luani rampaging down the right. Kuros gets all of Atletico in the opening 20. Gio Kuros, some are signing from Arsenal. Gio Kuros should and does Oh wow, that looked contentious. I'm not sure my opinion's worth anything but I don't understand how that's not a penalty. It's a loose one though which will be pounced upon by Sheila Guijarro. Luani helping and there's a good test to see if Astralaga is fighting fit or not. It's a test that she passes forward from Marassa only to her opposite number picked up by Patri Ojeda who was perhaps fortunate not to give away a penalty in the first half for a trip on. Gio who is coming forward for Atletico now comes to Bourissa whose invention is Quells. Lovely efforts, good block. Medina now for Atletico. Almost through for Tatiana Pinto. Oh and that could invite a bit of pressure here for Aibar but it's taken again by Guijardo whose contrition is absolute and necessary. Almost straight into Alvarez's path. Don't know who she was looking for with Altanaga's shot. Unable to cut out needless slip-ups but Aibar to their credit are making it difficult for them today. Perhaps Atletico are in now for an opener with Benitez who takes far too long to bring the ball down. Caught in one or two mines who knows and probably the best opening of the game comes and goes for the hosts on a mile. Here come Aibar lovely ball through for Alvarez. Oh and the shot is spilled and that allows Aibar to take the lead and Campos is the only one who followed up, the only one who gambled and that is Aibar's jackpot. Guijardo will reflect, reflect long and hard because she has spilled that seeking a quick response. Oh and she's done well to atone. Astralaga missed the first ball, paused to the second vitally. Kansas City in the summer. Ina Marassa who'd been at right back comes off as well. Here's Jensen heading forward. Oh what an opportunity, what an opportunity. A glaring one at the back post missed. Onside Jensen. Oh goodness me normally such a reliable source of much like Jensen. 13 last season, one goal in the last two months for her. Would be a timely moment to find one now. It's not her, it's Fiamma Benitez. Aibar's resistance broken, destroyed with less than 10 to play. Timing her arrival to a tee and Fiamma Benitez drags Atletico to parity. Garcia Benitez has rescued at least one for Atletico. Brilliantly done for Sheila Guijardo. Jensen and seven for Atletico to find a winner which is good and away by Elba Vergas and no time for the return cross. An excellent point for Aibar in Madrid. Backs to the wall, bodies on the line, heads in where it hurts them and they have fought and earned for this point.
