Signs you are being overworked at your job.
Many people have a problem relaxing because they never have time for it.
That is often overlooked as a problem, but to function at peak efficiency,
you need regular rest and recreation.
Working overtime every day is a sure sign that you feel overwhelmed at your job.
You cannot complete all of your assignments within a regular 8-hour work day,
so you either work extra hours in the office or bring work home with you.
It may seem like organizing better helps,
but it's never enough to make your job completely manageable.
You start the day with a to-do list, but it grows as the day goes on.
Regardless of how fast or efficient your work,
you will never be able to keep up with the constant flow of additional work.
This is especially true for employees who serve as the office's efficient worker.
He or she is often the one to troubleshoot more complicated problems
and assist less productive co-workers.
In addition, you come to dread meetings, either because they are so frequent
or because they take up time that could be spent on clearing your tasks at hand.
You are losing or gaining weight.
Body aches have become frequent to you.
You're tired, even on days when you don't work.
Your interests, such as meeting family and friends,
have deteriorated simply because you are mentally exhausted.
The bottom line is, any of the signs shared earlier can be signs that you are burnout.
Once it begins to affect your physical well-being, it is time to stop.
Everyone has periods of being overworked in any job,
but no one can live happily with a state of perpetual overwork.
At this point, it may be time to sit down and have an honest conversation with your superiors
or to look for a new job.
Hopefully this video has helped you in a certain way.
