Hey guys, um welcome back to my channel. Since the topic of glass skin is trending every minute,
so I thought I would share some tips and hacks to how to have your best skin. So this is me
literally without any makeup. I mean I had a bit of lipstick this morning but I think it's all been
kind of eaten up now. Um okay so my hacks for good skin. So first of all I think what's really
important is to know that in order to have good skin it's not just makeup and skincare.
The fundamentally is more important in terms of what you eat, what you drink, as well as
your habits like what time do you wake up, what time do you go to sleep, as well as well a lot of
and all of those habits would actually change depending on what season you are, as well as
the environment you are. Is it colder? Is it hotter? So today I'm going to give a very comprehensive
tip tips on how to have your best skin. So let's get started. So first of all I'm just commenting
on terms of the environment. If the weather you you're living with is currently kind of
hoarse and colder, more windy, you want to kind of have thicker creams on no matter your skin type
and obviously that would change depending on the country you're in. But just generally speaking
if it's hotter you want to ideally you want to have minimal makeup on as well as lighter things.
So ideally in summer or really hot weather you want to have like lotions but in colder weathers
you definitely want to put on like a serum and a moisturizer. And this other skincare philosophy
is that I would never put more than three layers on my skin because you don't know whether two
products will complement each other or not. So for instance you know if we put retinol as another
kind of strong ingredient they might not have this one plus one eco-aggressive effect. In fact
it might kind of have worse effects on your skin. And also so what I do is that you know even if I
put makeup on I would never put more than three layers of things on my skin. So my daily skincare
in the summer is just to wash my face, put on like a face mist and then put on like a little
bit of lotions on my cheeks and then use the residue on my fingers to rub it on my ass yeah
to rub it on my skin. Because I have combination skin so this bit of my
cheeks is like kind of drier and my t-zone is kind of like more oilier. So I would you know
that would change according to your skin type obviously. That's that. As well as that I think
something we may not acknowledge is that the skincare products you're using
may not be the best for your skin because in a business perspective you want this skincare
product to maintain in good condition as long as you can to have a longer shelf life. But that does
not translate into better skincare products for you because that means they have added things
like emulsifiers and different things. So you definitely want to look at the ingredients.
Something to bear in mind is that you ideally want things that do not have alcohol in it
and I would definitely recommend things that have a shorter shelf life. So things
maybe brands like CeraVe that's kind of looking more kind of dermatologist vibe or brands like
Lush. I think Lush said that they have a short shelf life so that actually makes the ingredients
more fresh. But also apparently they use fragrance so do look into that. Currently the products I'm
using is this brand called Lisselle. They have this probiotic moisturizer. It smells terrible
but it's it's but that also means it's good because it's oh I know it's good for a different kind of
skin even the most sensitive and also it doesn't have fragrance as fragrance is good for nose
it's probably not good for your skin. Another thing I want to say is that
skincare is just one small thing on having a good skin. Other things count. I hate to say this but I
mean even genetics counts. So if your family struggle with this skincare concern chances
are you maybe so maybe ask your family for their skincare tips and how they are the products they
use that could be very insightful. And the most important thing is to I remember someone used to
say this to me and I found it so wise. So I was thinking about skincares and she said well instead
of thinking about skincare you should think about your life habits. Like when do you sleep and do
you wake up? How much how many times do you face a screen? I mean I'm facing a screen right now
and do you work? And as she said instead of thinking about things like that maybe you should just think
about your moods. If you're always feeling very happy and feeling very chill and relaxed that's
probably even better than thinking about your screen time or what time do you go to sleep which is
more important than your skincare products. So definitely keep this in mind.
And with that I'll see you next time.
