Hey guys! Today I'll be doing a quick video on the best, I think, best natural looking makeup
products that I would really recommend, as well as the makeup products that's good for beginners.
So let's get started. Regarding base products, I would recommend either to look natural or just
easy to use for beginners. I would say something that's not heavy, that's kind of
more transparent. So something like this Glossier Skin Tint. For this one, I used to use like a brush
with it, but I realised it's actually easier and also waste less stuff if you just use your
fingers. And it just works really good with fingers. It doesn't really, you know, show
anything. It looks amazing with using your fingers. So I would definitely recommend this
Skin Tint. But if you want a natural makeup finish, this is still pretty light. Like,
unless I use a Skin Tint darker than my skin colour, than the shade of my skin, it's not gonna
cover dark circles or anything. So unless you use something darker deliberately,
in order to cover imperfections, it's not gonna really cover anything. It's just gonna look a bit
more... a bit more moist. It's gonna add a bit more moisture and it's going to look more,
kind of, more dewy. I think that's how they say it. It kind of does, actually. It looks,
my skin looks a bit more radiant after using this. But yeah, it doesn't really cover anything.
So if you're a makeup beginner, like, great, use this first. But if you want a more natural
looking finish and you want something that's, um, and if you want something that's a bit more
coverage, I would recommend either using this concealer by MAC. It's called
Studio Fix Everyday Wear All Over Face Pen, Crying Corrector, blah, blah, blah, blah.
It's really good. So, like, the first... I got this as a birthday present from a friend.
And the first time I tried it just using my fingers, because I don't have a concealer brush,
I just, like, I was just like, this is amazing. It looks like the shade is a bit different. My
skin shade. But when I put it on my skin, on my dark side, because to cover it up,
it kind of just melts in and you can't see, like, concealer on my face. It looks just like my skin.
So, like, I was like, this stuff is amazing. So just using, like, put a bit on your hand
and then use your finger to dab it on your skin instead of put this directly on,
because otherwise you might give a heavier finish than you desire and it can look like,
you know, like people can see you have some stuff on your face. So you want something natural.
And another way to do it with stuff both look natural, good for beginners, and also
it's just easy to use and has more coverage than just a matte skin tint, is to use a powder.
The powder I've used that I really like is this Rimmel powder. I use the shade Transparent.
Although it said Transparent, it still covers up and it does have a colour, but it's good. Like,
I've been using it so much you can't really see, like, you can't, you can't actually see the label
anymore. And I basically, like, they didn't have a sponge that go with it, so I had my own sponge
with the sponge I got from a powder from Canmake, which is a Korean, not Korean, Japanese brand.
Yeah, but the thing with, like, Canmake is that, um, it's just, like, Canmake don't really
put a lot of stuff into their makeup and, like, the powder's really lightweight in a bad way.
Anyways, um, so I would recommend this one. But the thing with this is, like, the first time
I used it on my skin, it looks like, I remember, I felt like I just put a filter on my face,
but then your skin gets oily. And if you dab it on the skin again, it might even make your pores
stand out. I think that's just my fault because I was, like, doing this instead of, like, I was
kind of, like, just moving around instead of dabbing the powder on. So maybe it's gonna be
better if you just dab it on. Um, another product I recently got was this from Maybelline. I just
had so many good reviews about it and I decided to give it a try. It does, um, so I'm in the shade
Natural Ivory 105. Um, I think it just does the job. It's a finish powder that's meant to
make, like, your face less oily and they certainly did. But it doesn't really, like,
you know, it doesn't really give a really nice finish. No, not a bad finish. It just doesn't
give a really, kind of, a really amazing finish. It's just, it just does the job. But that being
said, I think it's using this consistently over this easier than just this. But this has a better
finish than this, so it's a trade-off. But I like them both. Um, regarding blush, I would definitely
recommend, like, blush I got from Colossier. Um, to be fair, other blush, like, the one I got from
Sephora and the one I got from Benefit, they are nice, but they give a very high colour payoff,
which is not ideal if you're a makeup beginner, or if you just want something natural,
because that requires some more technique. I would also recommend this colour, this shade Ginger from
Garnerau Monsieur. But the thing is, like, the thing with this brand, the thing with this product,
is that it is so natural that I look like I put nothing on my face, unless I, like, put a lot of
powder on. So it's just, like, I wouldn't, it's not a bad shade, but it's just, it's a bit difficult.
Um, rather this one, it just, like, it looks natural, but you can also see that, you know, it just
makes the powder doesn't just disappear, it's actually on my face. So I would prefer just blush
from Colossier. Um, lastly, I would recommend this eyeshadow from MAC. It's in the shade Omega.
So I know a lot of Asian people use it to do nose contour as well. I use it to do nose contour
sometimes, which is, it looks natural, but sometimes I wouldn't... The thing, like, using this for nose
contour is that, I don't know, it's not my favourite nose contour, but it's an amazing eyeshadow,
and it just de-puffs my eyes instantly. And sometimes, like, when I use bright eyeshadows that's a bit
too bright or too light for me, I just mix this with the other eyeshadow together, and it looks
amazing. So, like, this is my go-to eyeshadow. So that's all for just, like, makeup products that's
good for a kind of a natural finish, that make you still look like you, but more beautiful, as well as
just something that's good for beginners.
