Today we were at Townsville and 1st was going to Castle hill with 360 view of the city with the many lookout tracks follow by going to the Botanical garden. We then went to the Black weir and was given the wrong info by a walker which said it was the Ross river dam. We did after this went to Ross river dam but could not drive up it as work was being done so the gate was closed. We drove further for another few km and found a parking spot that we can then walk up the steps to see the dam which hold a lots of water.
