Conegliano vs. Vero Volley | Finals | Highlights - Supercoppa Women 2024

Oh, what a hit from Haak! On a platter, a silver platter for Kezute from Fukudome. Got in position early. Still nothing to separate the teams at the moment. Nice work from Christine Kierkegaard. Dig, but it's not going to stay in play. Gabi goes for it. Helps it on its way. Oh, that's a lovely swing. The error from Bedaro, the ace from Constantinidou. Trouble. It's Fribourg-Caneliano. Played brilliantly, though, into that corner to make it tricky. And still it's tricky. It's Fribourg, now Milano. A swing for the set. Szilá. Gets it with a tip! Wow, what a start to this match, to this Supercoppa final. Hidden ball in range, still in play. Gabi, no chance. She's blocked again. Lights out on Gabi. 9-4 Milano lead in this second set. In Modena, back in 2015. That's the thing about volleyball. Lovely pick-up from Kezute. And Lukasik finds the floor. Is that you've got, particularly in this league, Pietrini, the player who has moved around a bit. As well, she's come from Dinamac, was from the Scambici. A player that doesn't wear knee pads, actually. One of the very few female players in volleyball that doesn't wear knee pads. And it speaks to her about it. Once, Aston. Good touch. Kept in play. Milano, not quite giving up on this set just yet. Gabi's out. Has to go on the 15. Lukasik can't get a swing. Another chance here, Milano. Szilá. Lovely swing from Szilá. That's a lovely hit from Daldurot. That's another point for Milano. Look at this. Goodness me. Everybody's in around the three-metre line. Nobody's covering deep. This is the top picture. It shall be a good picture. You'll see Marco Fantasia. Viewers. Goodness me. What another super block. Well played, Daldurot. She's kind of been in and out. Actually, he wants her to serve this ball. Although it's not Denise's. It's Helena Kizut's. There's free ball here. Two front-court attackers. Not the best ball in. It doesn't matter, does it? No, it's still in play. Perhaps now. Better ball required. That's perfect. Well watched by Vos. Another chance here for Milano. Daldurot for the set. Can't get a full swing. Gabi's out of the attack, though. Has to go middle and far. Does the job. And keeps Caneliano in it for the moment. One side out required. And they get it. Daldurot finds the angle. 25-21 for Milano. They lead this Supercoppa by two sets to one. Oh, that's incredible. Commit block from far. And Caneliano have the lead. Oh, Gabi. Goodness. Wonderful. From far. Fukudomi couldn't keep it in play. Pack. Too easy for Caneliano. This for 18-16. Oh, pick up. Tastic. Another opportunity here for Caneliano. Well, that's a foot fault from Gabi. Lamprini with the serve. Far again. Just too good through the middle. Still up. Point. 21-21. Here we go. Good ball. Big swing. Set point down. Two sets to one up. Pack with the serve. Not a pass that is from Daldurot. But it's into transition. There's a swing for the set. It's taken to a decider. Lukasik. No good. Daldurot for 24 all. No good. Pack gets it done. 25-23. It's 2-2. We are going five. This is it. The fifth and final set of the Supercoppa Finacco Final. First point scoring chance for Caneliano. That's a great dig. Good save. Fukudome. Free ball Caneliano. They come again. And Hack has absolutely bounced it. What a start. Free swing. Spike town. One-nil Caneliano. A couple of blockers for... Still to deal with. But she doesn't get the better of. But the block gets the better of Hack. Behind in the match. Good touch. Needed to be made. Well played far as well to get onto that. Lukasik. Scrappy but it's fun. Free ball Milano. Dinesi could go for a swing. Draws the block with her. And there's a gap. A gap. That's just enough for Silla to find a way through. And that will do it. Caneliano. Take the match. By three sets to two. They are the Supercoppa Finacco champions 2024.
