When she was looking truly world-class against the Turks at the weekend. Backslide, Poland contained. Great little flick, just taking all the power there out of the opposition's attack. Well, that's one to warm her cockles. An absolute cruncher cross-court there from Poland and that pickup just carries all the way back and over and it's a gorgeous open court as far as the ties are concerned. Well, she knew very little about it. That's really Chachouane, tips the tape, takes all the speed and power out of the ball. Kicked up and quite literally thereby tapped out and then Palermo with that touch. Big hit by Howe, will Thailand get it back? Surely a kill here and it's a kill. But there was just too much fire in this. Well, any bit of the body will do as long as the ball doesn't touch the floor. That set, that earlier set from Kornpine was just remarkable. All the kick play, free ball sent over by Thailand. Here's a great chance for Turkey to tie it. The dig. And it's point Thailand. Getting an opportunity to swing here after that opportunity. Who's next up to serve. A setter goes over on two. Look at that. Great dig by the Libero in fairness. It comes back over. So Peanuts doing a bit here. Well played, well played Thailand. Into the action in okay. A bit of a scramble. That was a great swing from Herbots. Thailand equal to it. Good cover from Jensen's. Van Gestel with that tip and that will... No, it won't work. It was outside the antenna. Fantastic play. Peanut brings it back. Belgium come again and this time they get it done off the hands and away. There was a moment then where Belgium was celebrating a little too early because that's a great bring back by Chatillon and then Peanut and in the end Van Gestel says no, I've had enough of this now. Chatillon waiting but so too are the USA. They've got it into transition here. That's high enough. It should come back. It will come back. Well played. Porn Punt and then Wondaranti is having to do a little bit of work and now this is brilliant. Oh that's not so brilliant unfortunately. Oh but that is... Goodness me, the rally's still going. Reid and she's foot faulted unfortunately from the back row. Pimpa Chai was close to doing that as well on her swing but that's just the way that Thailand play their volleyball. They just get on to everything. In the Volleyball Nations League this year they are a very talented and hard-working team. Got a coat with some finesse. The pancake dig. Another free ball over into the middle. This time off hands and Thailand's Chatillon. There it starts with the pancake dig from Chatillon and then she gets to finish and misses the... Tough dropping serve. Turkiye was ready to celebrate but it's kept alive by Thailand. Another chance Turkiye. Another block Thailand. Cess Espadron got it up. Chatillon. She drops it down. Chatillon. What a play. Out of nowhere she almost miss hit the ball. Great look from above at the movement. She didn't get all of it. She got enough of it. And full named best at the European Championships a few years back. There's an overpass and a nice recovery by Thailand. Jaraporn and Chatillon just gets the back line. We are tied again. Great back and forth here in this opening set. First match of the World Championships for these two teams. Their only match here in the Netherlands before they move to Poland. Had the best setting numbers in the preliminary round in the Volleyball Nations League in terms of setting. Got a coat. Off hands. The quick is out on the return and it's a point Thailand. And they have fought back to tie it again. Really good pressure on Thailand who's able to do something good. Jaraporn, Kongyok next with the serve. It's a pick up but three balls Serbia. Back slides. Good pick up again. Fine rally developing. Backcourt defense there inspired by Mihailovic. Then Milenkovic. Thailand contain again. Pornpuk just tips it back over the head to Hataya. She can't attack properly. And attack line full finally. Great rally. Yeah. Man, Thailand keeping themselves really composed. There's that tiny little foot touch there from Mihailovic. We can do this. Let's see if they can do it. Crowd is on their side to a certain extent. It's over. Nice up from Turkiye but it's a free ball. Back comes Thailand again. Akaz is going to set it up. Baladin. Easy swing over. Another nice up from Akaz. Here's Baladin. Blocked. And a shoveled over. But kept alive by Thailand again. What a rally. Finally point Turkiye. Baladin. And Ozbay in the huddle telling her teammates, hey I told you we could do this. Nice up Ryzanski. Oh goodness that's amazing. The spin on that ball then. So difficult to control. And now Thailand can come back and attack. Oh a little too steep. So it won't happen. But a fabulous pick up from Chatuan. And then again by Nataporn to keep the rally going. But it's Baladin to take it. Unforced error Thailand. Thailand need to get this sided out. But Stenzel's on it. Oh so too Chataporn. That's a good dig from her. Oh yes what a swing. Pimpachaya. That's a big point for Thailand. Great rally. Let them do their job now. Don't mess with what's happening. Oh what a dig. That's not coming back. This is unbelievable. I don't believe what I'm seeing. 10-5 Thailand. China are dissolving it in front of our eyes. Thailand playing like they're all six foot eight in the front court and four foot two in the backcourt.
