I heated up some leftovers.
Get a late start to the day.
I lost about two-thirds of the food I filmed today.
I went in and like I color-coded everything.
Like everything just feels so wrong.
I just got back in yesterday and I want to do a little week in my life as I get my little work routine going again
and just unpacking everything, settle back in. It's been a whole month since I've been gone. So it feels
kind of weird to be here.
I got a majority of my laundry done at my mom's house. So I just have to put it all back.
I under packed a little bit for my trip because I-
the scale at my parents house was a little bit off. Maybe about like
10 or 15 pounds.
So I took a lot of clothes out and then for the majority of the trip, I think I would re-wear like the same
three pants for the entire month
and like one skirt.
Testing, testing, testing, testing, testing.
I just got back in to Vegas yesterday
at like one-ish and I spent the majority of yesterday just unpacking.
Hi, Mr. Earl. Did you miss me?
Pasta is such a standard. I don't know what to cook a meal.
The color of the sauce.
Podcast done.
Oh, excuse the dust. I give up.
I'm giving in to the jet lag. I still have to do my sketchbook tour. I'll do it after this nap.
Good morning. I'm so groggy. I did not- how long was I out for?
I want to at least get my sketchbook tour done for my patrons so that I can post it tomorrow sometime.
But yeah, just like everything from my Taiwan trip, a nice
nice smooth scan
so that they-
My brain's not awake yet.
I haven't powered on this computer yet.
Oh my gosh, I can't wait to open all this mail.
Good morning.
So beautiful.
Today for breakfast,
drinky drink with some toast,
eggs and grapes.
My mom washed me these grapes right before I left so
thanks mom.
I'm just walking.
Everything's so dry here. I feel like I have to bathe myself in like Vaseline.
Dude, just kind of in this mundane routine and I love the time when you're seeing the same people. It's not free, you know what I mean?
And like also my general
I'm trying new things. It is something new.
I heated up some leftovers from yesterday and dropped a frozen udon noodle in it
to make it more filling.
It's such an overcast day today. I hadn't seen before.
Everything's looking so much cleaner. I replaced all the photos for the last
seven listings.
So yeah now it's so cohesive, so beautiful.
She got a little facelift.
It's 5 30 and right now is about the time I doze off because of my jet lag
but I'm trying really hard to pull through it.
No matter what I'm not putting my head down.
The moment my head touches a soft cushy anything
I just want to fall asleep.
So
I'm gonna pack some Patreon orders. I think it'll be easy to do easy work.
I also ended up sleeping so much yesterday. I slept from like I think around like 4 to like 6 30.
Then I woke up. I went to get food with my boyfriend, came back,
immediately fell asleep from like 9 30 to like 6 30 a.m.
I think that's why I ended up doing a lot today.
It's because I had so much energy from sleeping.
I'm still waiting for episodes of marry my husband to come out. So in the meantime, I'm gonna have to find something else.
I don't know what to watch.
What's good these days? What have you guys been watching?
I don't even know what to watch anymore.
This is so good. It's called douhua.
Soy bean tofu with a ginger sweet sauce.
Okay, let's finish the rest of these orders, shall we? All I have left is
the address stamps as well as putting the postage on it
and also stealing it. I ended up watching Carol and the end of the world. It's a very interesting
animated show.
Kind of relatable.
Kind of relatable. I've always felt like Carol in some sort of way.
Has your sleep schedule fixed?
Dude, oh my god. Yesterday, I was so determined to sleep, right? I was so determined.
And then I was watching a show and packing my Patreon orders. I think it hit
like 8 p.m.
Yeah, and he called me and I started talking to him and I laid my head down.
He's like just give it to sleep. Okay, I'll sleep. And then I slept till like 12 a.m.
So that was like three hours and then I woke up. I took a shower. I like passed out
again, and I woke up at like
8 a.m. Oh my god. Yeah.
Yum. Ocean air.
I want to go out.
Do you want to go to Ikea tomorrow?
It's been too long.
What if I painted it like a fun color like a pale? I told you what happened when I met Judge Judy.
That's true.
At least Hollywood type.
Are you trying to hide under my skirt?
I had a
late start to the day. It's already 12 and I am just starting
my work day.
I think my jet lag is gone. Yesterday, I tried really hard to stay up and it helped a lot because I was hanging out with my friends.
So I ended up sleeping around like 1 and I woke up at 9 today. Yeah, I'm trying to get off of coffee.
I start drinking coffee like very frequently almost every single day.
I think right before I moved into this house.
And I'm realizing that without it, I'm just like consistently groggy. Coffee headaches are like the worst.
So fresh and so clean.
So smooth.
I did have two
bubble casualties up here. Other than that, I think I did a pretty good job.
I actually really like the finish of this. It's just so
like smooth.
I've been testing out the paper-like screen protectors for the past
week now and I can see what the hype is all about. Like they've literally been
around since when I had my first iPad and first started doing a lot more digital drawing on my iPad.
And I don't know why I didn't try it out earlier because this is such a game changer.
I used to just get like a random matte screen protector
and I did always feel like in some way it felt very odd drawing on it just because the
size of the granulations on it was just like so annoying all the time.
But then I tried this and what makes this different from like a regular matte screen protector
is that they use something called nano dots which are pretty much like really small micro beads that are on the screen protector
and they're laid out evenly across the entire thing. It still like gives that
feeling of drawing on paper
except the clarity is so much better on this one.
So the difference between the paper-like 2 and the 2.1 is that they updated it so that there's less refractions
and that's what gives you
an even more crisp image. If you draw digitally or if you write digitally on your iPad for like note-taking
you'll understand how important it is to have a very transparent screen so that you can actually see what you're doing.
You can find paper-like through their website paperlike.com or you can click the link in my description.
They come in these
iPads.
Thank you paperlike for sponsoring this video and I'm so serious when I say this is probably one of my
new favorite things. I'm gonna recommend this to everyone.
You need your own channel, Earl.
Maybe he'll make us money.
We're gonna exploit Earl.
Yeah.
Are you hungry, sir?
Yes!
Oh, that was loud.
Oh, I want one.
I'll get one for you.
Thank you.
This one. I want that.
He's so sleepy. His eyes can't even stay open.
Oh, yes.
Happy Saturday!
Earl, say hi. Say happy Saturday.
We hang on the hem of your gown
blue sky come

Very unfortunate. I lost about
two thirds of the footage I filmed today and I dragged
the footage straight from the SD card into Final Cut Pro.
And then I deleted it thinking that I already transferred it to my SSD card.
So now I just paid a lot of money to try to
get the files back. It's okay though, because the only thing you're missing out on is me
petting Earl, taking a nap, and cooking. So
I just ordered these as stickers.
Hold up. Let me give you a better
better view.
I love him. He's just so silly.
My thought process was
this guy is eating so well. He's eating his cake so well that it's almost like
euphoric and
therefore it has an iridescent background to portray that. I think I'm thinking too deeply into this.
To mental health walk.
I was hoping that walk would make me hungry.
So I haven't had much of an appetite recently. I don't know why. I feel like I need to finish this
pasta sauce.
Chop some shallot.
Don't cry this time.
Another pasta.
Food coma.
I'm gonna take a quick nap, and then I'll continue working.
Knock knock.
Every second is a kitty break.
Y'all,
Notion just dropped Notion calendar, and it's
making my life so much easier.
This is not a Notion ad, but now I can literally combine all of my calendars
onto one, like even my Google calendars.
I went in and like I color-coded everything, and you know, it's such a blast. And now I get to
write next week's little to-do sheet. Never been happier. Oh my gosh, it's gonna be
February.
I got a sudden craving for this
with this and this.
Some balsamic, a little bit of olive oil, mix it all together.
It's the weekend!
I just woke up. Good morning. We have some friends coming around at 2. We're having
like a little get-together, but it's not so little anymore. I think there's like eight people coming
plus us, so there's ten people potentially. That's the most I've ever
had inside this home, so it's gonna be really fun. It's gonna be very
homey and fun, and gonna do some-
play some games, and yeah. Anyways,
back on track.
Gotta clean a little bit.
I'm gonna do some meal prep, so everything will be easier to cook with when I need it.
Can you see it? Yeah, I'm pretty much just tracing over it right now, and I'm gonna color it. I was watching
Cheyenne Barton's video about procreate drawing, and she said something about like the reason why your digital
line art is looking super stiff every time you trace over a sketch is because you're trying to trace over it,
versus if you have the mindset of like, oh, I'm going to draw it as if it's my first time,
but then use the sketch as just like a guideline, then the sketch comes out a lot less
stiff, and that's something that I really needed to hear. Like compared to my traditional art where I feel like there's a- like a
human touch to it, I always felt like my digital art was very stiff. I'm still learning. It's a little hard.
This is the fit for today. Pose, pose, photoshoot.
Hi.
I'm gonna go to a cafe.
Oh my god, there's snow on the mountain today.
There's snow on the mountain.
Got some
return packages, I think. Yeah, a return
tulip probably. I also got this ginormous box. I don't know what's in it though. I didn't order anything.
What is this? I'm gonna skip back my chair for this.
So much dust.
Oh, that's so cute, bruh.
They sent me coffee?
They sent me a little mic. Thank you, Patreon. There's so many like cute illustrations inside.
Quit blocking the flow.
I need to go to work.
There are a few scenarios in which I
decide when to leave a cafe.
One,
it's just- it just becomes so unbearable for how self-conscious I'm feeling. Two, my lactose
intolerance kicks in. Three, I want a pet earl.
And today, it's all three.
I'm too self-conscious.
I was just thinking to myself that like, you know when you're just feeling like super
uncomfortable all the time?
Everything you do just feels a little bit uncomfortable, and I'm just trying to remind myself that that's like
when you know that you're kind of growing and you're changing. It's like growing pains of not feeling like settled
and like everything that comes out of you creatively or whatever you're doing like work-wise just feels
so uncomfortable, but then there's like these moments of like, aha, I like the way I drew that.
I like the way I did that one thing.
And then there are times where it's like, I don't like anything that I'm doing. Like everything just feels so wrong and so bad,
but also
trying to welcome it because that is part of life, and that is part of growing. I just want to acknowledge that feeling.
Because I've been feeling that a lot. I would say this cat right here.
He's the reason for all these thoughts.
And this one, this guy. I think those two really made me go like, ah, aha.
I'm going somewhere with this. I am going somewhere with this.
And then I'll draw stuff like this, which to you might look fine, but then I'll be like, hmm.
That's not something I like.
And then it'll send me into a spiral.
Not me having a whole internal monologue. Oh, too much self-consciousness for a day. Episode 9 is out.
Look who came to visit. He hasn't slept in my studio in so long.
