HIGHLIGHTS | FC Barcelona vs. Real Sociedad (Liga F 2024-25 Matchday 2)

Well good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the Estadi Joan Grauf. Thank you very much for staying loyal and joining us on this coverage for the game between Barcelona and Real Sociedad. Just in case you are joining us just now, head coach José Luis Sánchez, head coach of Real Sociedad has made two changes to his starting lineup with Aymur Sariegi. And here's the charts and she sees her shot crash onto the crossbar. Amazing service she got there from her teammate. We're seeing it again. Lovely ball. She's just on side. Hang on. We're back on the right-hand side with Hansen. Lovely one-two with Bonmati. Hansen goes past the defender Garcia. Here is and what a save from the goalkeeper. Here it is again. Lovely play from Graham Hansen on the right wing. The awareness from Guijarro to see Bonmati. Ball floated into the back post and it's still not in. How did that not go in? My word. Here's this corner again to the back post. Engen was there. The referee, the goalkeeper rather, saves it. And somehow, someway the ball does not end in the back of the net. Alexia, Rolfo, Bajor, Kiera Walsh, Leon waiting for movement. Rolfo, Alexia, Rolfo looking for options. Buteas, lovely ball to Walsh. It's floated into the box and there's the goal. Caroline Graham Hansen and Barcelona lead 1-0. And that's how easy it is for Barcelona. Caroline Graham Hansen gets her first of the season. Who will be taking it? Alexia or Graham? It's gonna be Graham! 2-0! Well, I said she wanted the second of the night and she got her second of the night. Caroline Graham has her brace and Barcelona lead 2-0. Well, there's not much to say about this. This is just pure quality. Eiza Aguirre is going to take it. Floats one into the box and this is dangerous! And this could have been very, very dangerous there. And the Sociedad players are complaining that the throw-in was not taken properly. Either way, the game carries on. Referee didn't blow her whistle. Bonmati, is she going to take a shot? She does with her left foot and wall! Whistles past the post. You could almost sense that this is exactly what she wanted to do. Again, she tried to curl it into the top corner. This is lovely play, Alexia. Lovely free ball to Graham. Crosses one in for Rolf and she's late. Lovely free ball from Graham to Onabatia. Onabatia is in the box now. Onabatia with the cross for Putellas. Ball's still in play and it's a penalty for Barcelona. And the Sociedad players can complain all they want. That was a clear foul from Lete in my opinion. Alexia Putellas to make it 3-0 maybe. Scores! You can always count on her. The captain, Alexia Putellas, making it 3-0 for Barcelona. And it's pretty much wrapped up here at the Estadi Joan Cruyff. Ball lost here. Barcelona on the attack. Pina. And this can go quick again. Pina wraps it. It's a good save from Lete. Bardo Ramirez. Lovely ball over the top and Kohl is going to come out again. Oh, attention here. This could be dangerous. A lovely chip! Well, the one time Catalina Kohl has to do something. It goes horribly wrong. 3-1 and Sociedad get their goal. And they've done really well. This is thanks to their pressing here. No offside. There she is again. Bardo applying pressure. Jacinto. Lovely ball through to Kayana. It was Kainova, sorry. Ladies and gentlemen, we might have a game here because if Sociedad somehow manage to get a second one, this could be very, very interesting. Vicky. Bon Matí. Kika. Bon Matí. Pina. Lovely combination. Oh, and this is off the crossbar. And Vicky López. Another save by Ur. I mean, in terms of beautiful football and entertainment, Barcelona fans have nothing to complain about. Let's have a look at the shot again. Crashes off the crossbar. Vicky López with the rebound. But Lete is alert. Bruix. Pina. It's all about quick combinations now. As the game comes to an end. No need for any more combinations. Barcelona win convincingly. 3-1 here at home.
