CX-80のデザインフィロソフィーは、「Graceful Driving SUV」をコンセプトとし、上質な走りとフォーマルな美しさを追求している。
CX-80の外観はCX-60に似ているが、3列目シートの搭載に伴い、Cピラー後方のラインがスクエアになり、テールライトクラスターも若干異なっている。CX-80は、3列シートレイアウトの広さを強調する長いフロントエンドと長いキャビン、より洗練されたエレガントなボディラインなど、他のマツダ車にはないエレガントさを表現している。
全長4,990×全幅1,890×全高1,710mm、ホイールベース250mm延長、ルーフライン24mmアップの室内空間はCX-60と同様であるが、CX-80ではよりフレキシブルな空間構成を実現している。 トランクルームは7人乗りで258リッター、リア2列シートを収納すると最大1,221リッターとなる。 2列目シートは3タイプから選択可能で、3列目シートは身長170cmまでの乗員に対応する。
CX-80は、3ゾーン・エアコン、12.3インチ・インフォテインメント・スクリーン、ワイヤレス・スマートフォン接続、アマゾン・アレクサ・ボイス・コントロール、ドライバー・セッティング・メモリーを標準装備している。
パワーに関しては、CX-60と同じ設定である。 ディーゼル仕様には、マイルドハイブリッド技術「M HYBRID BOOST」を搭載した3.3リッター直列6気筒エンジンが搭載され、最高出力250hp、0-100km/h加速8.4秒、PHEV仕様には、2.5リッター4気筒ガソリンエンジンと電気モーターが組み合わされ、最高出力323hp、0-100km/h加速6.8秒、電気のみの航続距離は51kmとなる。 CX-80は、新開発の4気筒ガソリンエンジンと電気モーターを搭載。
CX-80は、新開発の後輪駆動プラットフォームを採用し、キネマティック・ポスチャー・コントロールを搭載することで、全長が長くなっても安定性と快適性を維持し、特に高負荷走行に適しています。
Mazda launched the CX-80 in Europe in April this year as the final model in its “Large Car Group”, and recently unveiled it in Japan, where it is scheduled to go on sale in the fall of 2024.The CX-80's design concept is based on the concept of a “Graceful Driving SUV”, with the goal of providing a high-quality driving experience and formal aesthetics.
The CX-80 is similar to the CX-60 in appearance, but to accommodate the third row of seats, the lines of the vehicle have been squared off behind the C-pillar, and the taillight clusters are slightly different. the CX-80 exhibits an elegance not seen before in the Mazda lineup, with a long front end and a long cabin that emphasizes the spaciousness of the three-row seating layout, and a more refined and elegant body line.
With dimensions of 4,990 x 1,890 x 1,710 mm, a 250 mm longer wheelbase and a 24 mm higher roofline, the interior is similar to that of the CX-60, but the CX-80 offers a more flexible space configuration. The trunk space is 258 liters in the seven-seat configuration and up to 1,221 liters with the rear two rows of seats stowed. The second row of seats is available in three versions, and the third row of seats is suitable for occupants up to 170 centimeters tall.
The CX-80 comes standard with three-zone air conditioning, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, wireless smartphone connectivity, Amazon Alexa voice control, and driver setting memory.
In terms of power, the CX-80 has the same setup as the CX-60. The diesel version is powered by a 3.3-liter inline six-cylinder engine with M HYBRID BOOST mild hybrid technology, delivering 250hp and accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 8.4 seconds, while the PHEV version combines a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with an electric motor, delivering 323hp and accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 6.8 seconds, with an electric-only driving range of 51 km. The CX-80 features an all-new four-cylinder gasoline engine and an electric motor.
The CX-80 adopts an all-new rear-wheel-drive platform and is equipped with Kinematic Posture Control, which maintains stability and comfort despite the increase in body length, making it especially suitable for driving under high load conditions.
