Jay Peak, VT ― Braving the Elements and the Resort

April 4, 2023 | Jay Peak, VT • Finally heading up north to experience the long-talked about Jay Peak. It's far. Over 6 hours drive. It has reputation of to be cold and windy... but we are ready. After camping out in our van by the Canadian border, we arrived to the resort to find out that only 2 green runs are opened and one small lift. Nobody could answer what the plan for the day was... will lifts open? can we uphill travel? The day was beautiful and we got the most out of it, crashing at a Yurt nearby for the night...
