Mount Washington, NH — Yop! That's how it went... down.

March 12, 2024 | White Mountains, NH • It's not a huge mountain, the hike to the top from the Cog side is pretty mellow. And yet, Mount Washington has a reputation of having the worst weather in America... the word "scary" was uttered a few times when we had to turn around. Not capturing all that went on on camera.. I ll say this much: It was hard to walk, the wind would throw you around, skiing was not an option. Everything in my body said "get out of here". With skins on, I turned around 300m from the summit, just trying to get somewhere where I would feel more comfortable to ski from again. Eric and Zephyn, thanks for the company and great adventure!
