We journeyed a little off-the-beaten path and hit a quick day hike at Peak Hill. The relatively easy hike had 2000' elevation gain with stunning 360 degree views of the Rakaia River, Lake Coleridge and the surrounding mountains. It was the perfect way to take advantage of the sunny, mild weather.
