"Bouguereaus' Diary" - Soundtrack from Divine Messengers - Epoch TV

The singer of this piece is the acclaimed French tenor Cyrille Dubois. For the song segment in the episode ”Bouguereau - A Defender of God-given Art”, I used pieces of text from William A. Bouguereaus’ diary, to arrange the lyrics and to portray Bouguereau’s inner world. The challenge was to find a male singer with the right timbre, as I wanted the voice to be soulful and carry great warmth, engagement and depth, just as the character and personality I imagined William Bouguereau had. I feel that the voice of the tenor Cyrille Dubois embodied those qualities, and I’m deeply thankful for his willingness to sing this piece. You can watch the whole episode on Epoch TV.
