On the morning of May 3, Russian police searched the homes of five Falun Gong practitioners and arrested four people. Major Russian media channels reported heavily on the incident and repeated the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) false propaganda against Falun Gong.
The Falun Dafa Information Center said that among those detained was Natalia Minenkova, who is in charge of Falun Gong practitioners' activities in Moscow.
Russian media described Natalia Minenkova as the "leader" of Falun Gong's activities. They said she was arrested under Article 284.1 for "participating in the activities of a foreign or international non-governmental organization."
