Rep. Coffey Opposes House Bill 5345

State Representative Mike Coffey strongly opposes HB5345. This bill would have major consequences to the service industry and would cripple small -business owners, if passed.

"As I've traveled the district, employees who have excelled at providing service to residents have asked me to stand up and fight against this bill,” Rep. Coffey said. “They are concerned their take-home pay will decrease and businesses will close their doors. We must do everything possible to encourage business in this state to grow and not saddle them with additional burdens."
