Rep. Ugaste Supports Legislation to Stop Nursing Home Isolation

Rep. Ugaste spoke in support of Senate Bill 1405, which would mandate that health care facilities ensure an opportunity for at least one visitor to visit a resident or patient during times of declared emergency in Illinois. This was in response to the isolation seniors experienced in health care facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
