you
hey guys I'm Wyatt from less than
seconds of life here at Chicago Ridge
Star Bar first date or yeah just gonna
show you some of my gear here
this is Jericho guitar it's a fusion
sixth string baritone
I think it's right around 27 inches in
that a lot of people like the baritones
and seven but I like me six because
maybe I don't really know what to do
with another string so I just do that
I got he em cheese in here it's like the
Zakk Wylde set and I just put a locking
tuners in here Spurs all sort of a fit
with all the hardware this one's not the
same because the strings too big to fit
through these so it's got the normal
tuner honor and I use Ernie Ball
baritone strings right there I don't
think they make them anymore but I get
them off the eBay so I still buy them
cuz I love them and they work perfect
for what I do and I love the gauge like
on the baritone have a feel I keep all
the volume and tone up on everything I
usually don't use this pickup a lot so
it's always in the bridge pickup here
and just high output gain mostly the
whole time and then there's no bevel on
this guitar and I hold my guitars pretty
high so I use it so it doesn't cut off
my blood flow so I just
people always ask me why and I know it
doesn't look good but it doesn't have to
look good if it works it oughta be nice
so once I finally get a guitar that's a
bevel I want to put that on there but
Jericho awesome company been using it
for probably two years now close though
killer guitar and then honestly a pretty
big set up here with the pedals and
everything but I got the TV 6505 plus
before I had this I had a 6505 and I
actually have another 6505 so I've
always been a fan of the TV they're
straight to the point
they're heavy what I like about them too
is they're good for the road they're
very they take the pain and still work
then I got this Mesa cab here it's a
normal standard cab got some rips and
tears I've used this for about six years
in the van and it's got rhinoliner on it
which is really hard it's like truck
bedliner I think it like sends the bass
a la la instead of like if you're
watching a band you always feel that the
society and everything but with this cab
I feel like it sends all that out to the
audience which I really like and then
just here I got a noise suppressor
digital reverb simple reverb and a tuner
and that's it
so just balls to the wall kind of setup
not really like a technical crazy
anything so that's it what's up guys I'm
Mike from the last 10 seconds of life
just showing you what I use first off I
got the classic ampeg 810 standard we
got a QSC power amp because I just need
some clean power to run in I get all of
my effects and everything from my axe FX
I'm just running a nice patch their
secret can't tell you what it is and
then we have our core pitch black flow
tuner which I've never found a better
one but really the key to my sound is
the micro tubes b7k this thing is just a
beast and I can't get enough of it
that's the main part of my tone before I
use this guy I was
a sansamp and a bass overdrive which is
really sick I liked the result but this
thing really kind of just puts out more
than both of those combined so I have a
really stoked on this thing oh really
the idea here is the axe-fx gives you
all the color that you are looking for
you can add a cab in here you can add
even I can give a tone stack from a Mesa
power stack in the axe-fx and then just
run it clean through this power amp
instead of a Mesa power amp port I'm
learning a Mesa sound you understand and
so really the point of the clean power
is just to get that sound from A to B
and this is my bass right now I just
switched to 170 gauge strings from da da
Rio they're pretty sweet I was
previously using 182 gauge from pallium
strings which is great but I was just a
little too big it couldn't really bend
notes and stuff and just be comfortable
jamming and everything this is by the
way a Schecter stiletto five stealth it
comes inside with a preamp you can see
in the back here this is a battery it's
not for active pickups it's actually for
a preamp inside that gives it his own
little clean boost it has active
you can add treble bass this is your
pickup select and this is your volume I
tend to keep my pickups blended I have
music men and ap bass I tend to keep
them evenly in between because I just
get them around this fattest like clean
a sound out of it and then my a treble
and my bass I usually kind of just play
with it further really I usually leave
them right in the middle it's just a
nice flat tone coming out of the thing
that free hand really does a lot the key
to my tone is these guys this is a
company called lace pickups they have
these a luma tone bass bars this thing
is just crazy I originally had just the
Schecter stop the customer they're
basically built like the images they're
great they do the job once I put this
lace in it's like the faceless round it
out and became 3-dimensional it's really
drove in that low-end it drives
in that high-end everything was just
there it even has a higher output than
p.m. G's themselves because there's no
actual coil in the pickup the totally
different technology I don't know it's
actually just two conductors they go
across the Firth there they're pretty
safe all comes together into this big
national beast I just try to keep
building on and making bigger and bigger
