With you, everything is getting more expensive. Of course, but with us farmers too.
And I'll show you that today with two clear examples.
In 2010 or 2012, when we rebuilt this stable, of course, we also invested in food technology.
We bought a mixed truck.
Back then, we decided on a mixed truck that cost about 115,000 euros.
Now it has served for 10 years and, of course, is no longer in order to mix high-quality food.
So we had to get a replacement machine.
This replacement machine cost exactly twice as much.
So far over 200,000 euros.
So twice in 10 years.
On the other hand, when we built this stable here in 2010, we had construction costs per stable of about 5,000 euros.
If we were to rebuild this stable today with the current conditions, construction rights and so on,
then we would be at just under 15,000 euros. More than three times.
If you think about it now, in 10 years these two things have doubled, tripled in price.
Where did the milk price actually go?
Has it also tripled or doubled? No.
That is not the case.
The milk price has gone up and down, but has actually remained quite stable.
With these sobering statements and thoughts, I now say goodbye.
